Is the company still up & running? I visited the website and most of the links to instructional videos were broken. I filled in a form to report the broken links…and it didn’t work. Phoned customer service and reported the above…no feedback per request (Is the company still in business?).
Imho, you peeps could do better by getting on top of your online presence (cuz it’s a really really sh*tty presence at that. (And) I’m perty sure most prospective customers won’t/don’t invest as much effort in feedback as I have when presented with a sh*tty website…they just move on. And I’m still wondering per all of the broken links on your website-are you still in business? Not exactly confidence inducing😂.
Do you actually surf with just your trunks and a Stealth Belt? No shirt on? I tried surfing with an Ostomy Secrets wrap last year. Just trunks and the wrap. It felt very uncomfortable when paddling. It felt as though my bag / adhesive was going to peel off. And it felt like I could be hurting my stoma (It didn't....but it felt like I was gonna). I ended up putting my wetsuit on. And surfed 100% fine with that on. I'm dying to just trunk it again though. Like I did before surgery.
Hey there! Yeah, I do surf with just the trunks and Neorpene Stealth Belt. I wear it fairly tightly while in the water and make sure the bag is empty and that I havent eaten before (so it doesnt fill up while i'm out there.) A lot of times I will just use the wetsuit like you said (especially when the water is really cold), but for those days that I want to be out there without a shirt on and the water is warm, the Neoprene SB works really well! Just make sure you're wearing it tight if you're like me and fall a lot. ;)
@@collinjarvis6251 Great to hear! I was bummed with the Ostomy Secrets wrap. On top of it just not feeling super comfortable. There was a few times I paddled up over the lip of a wave, and water would come up over the board, get behind the wrap and pull it away from my body. I am positive in a big wipe out that the wrap and probably my bag could be pulled right off my body. Would you be able to post a video of yourself surfing with just a pair of trunks and the belt?
I feel all you guy's pain. Avid hiker & rock climber(limited after surgery). I felt my stealth belt was jerking my barrier or flange loose. Pain under the stoma from jostling around? Occaional drop of two of leakage(pwew). I see Colin folds his pouch. less room. Short Bowel & hydration will fill you up. Eric the Vegan(my mentor) puts a tiny drop of sewing mchine oil in the barrier's tracks & turns it horozontal. It's will hold more poop, Use VERY little or you will see leakage.
Hi Jan, The Hybrid can be helpful for hernia support, since the neoprene will allow more pressure to be placed directly over the stoma. It will depend on how tightly you wear the belt - it needs to be tight to provide that support.
