Pittsburgh Steelers Diontae Johnson and Chris Boswell called out the officials after the Jacksonville Jaguars Game. Head Coach Mike Tomlin also exchanged words with the officials, questioning their sanity and intelligence. Fans are upset criticizing some of the calls on social media. Worst call in NFL history?

I'm sick of bad calls adversely affecting a game. The coaches need to be able to challenge bad penalty calls and to have them objectively reviewed by the booth. As the video showed, one hit on the Jags' QB is called roughing the passer when an even worse hit on the Steelers ' QB isn't even called. The refs need to be consistent and thus need to be held accountable for bad calls.

I watch the whole game. I can't think of one bad call that is worth remembering besides when the Jaguars rb knee was down and they still call the funble. There was a few non-calls for holding, nothing dramatic.

That line is leaning left. It should actually point at the refs nutsack on top of that screen. You can see a clear difference when you look at the green on either side. With that said, yeah, it's still a dumb call. The ball is going to be hiked backwards and not allow any team to gain advantage either way. I saw a similar play yesterday where the center moved the ball slightly forward when he was getting ready to hike it and the refs called a false start. More ways for the refs to control the clock and the game.

Bullcrap. I watched the whole game and have watched the film. There were missed calls on the steelers too. So whatever. I'm not a fan of either team obviously based on pro pic but I have to call out their pandering. Maybe play good enough where you don't have to worry about refs.

Missed calls in the action of a play is one thing, calling offsides when players are stationary and not moving is something only a brave, empowered female ref would do, the Steelers probably hurt her feelings at some point in the game.

Steeler's got screwed but the ref's were really nice to them in the Cleveland game. The officiating has been horrible across the board! They need to have an age restrictions. Some of these clowns look like Biden out there.

It’s ALWAYS been suspect. But that day in 2019, in New Orleans, was the day we will look back on as the start of the Sportsbook era of football. Every year it gets worse and worse and they refuse to hire FULL TIME officials. Why? You make BILLIONS of dollars to not do something as simplistic as that. It happened in the NBA and it’s happening every week in NFL now. It is what it is, try to make your money and enjoy it as entertainment because it’s definitely not what it was even 10 years ago.

@@christopherfava2529 I think it’s a good change. There are some savy veteran centers that would use this in conjunction with the hard count to draw the defense into the neutral zone. Defenses complained to the competition committee and the rule was amended. Hell this year they are calling face masks on runners. Sometimes rule changes are good. Now if they would only start flagging offensive players for introducing their head into the play.

Good for Tomlin, they let Kenny get smashed while throwing the flag for Trevor on as clean a hit as you'll see, then they called this strange FG call when the line on Boswell's post sure seems to show nobody off the line. Not saying it determined the game, but just bogus calls, I'm glad Tomlin is sticking up for his team.

Quit crying about the refs. It wasn’t roughing the passer. The defender landed on the side of Kenny. He didn’t land with all of his weight on top of him. Also, there were 6 penalties each and the Jags had more penalty yards. Bad teams blame the refs. Btw, there were missed calls in the Jags side as well. Let’s not forget the blow to the head to Trevor from TJ that went uncalled. Goes both way. Is this really what the Steelers have resorted to? Crying and blaming the refs for a loss.

And if you listen to the guy complaining in the locker room he said the game would have been tied with that field goal, no, it was 9-3. Also, it was the end of the half the jags got the ball in the second half. What was he talking about? He said we probably would've gotten the ball back and drove down and scored sound like a crybaby to me. I always was taught not to give excuses. I think they're embarrassed because they called the jags. hope defense, Steelers hope nobody would remember what they said

I agree with the fact that the officials are terrible and always do the Steelers dirty. This isn't the first time with the refs... however. This team needs to play better. And yes the officials need consequences for the actions just like the players. Determining the outcome of a game is not the officials job. Which obviously today it was. Or the officials thought it was anyway
