Hello Mister, Steinhart builds fantastic watches! Also this GMT is a feast for the eyes! Very well processed, sapphire crystal, Ceramic bezel in beautiful blue / black, very good clockwork, titanium case, titanium bracelet ..... and the whole for the unbeatable price !! A beautiful watch! I have to buy that ✌ By the way, very nice video Rob 😉👍✌🥰
Good looking watch. Really tempted to buy one even though i already have 2 Gmt 42mm's. Coke on jubilee and Pepsi on oyster. Also tried a 39mm recently and those are definitely to small for my 7 3/4 wrist. So to anyone with 7 inch wrist and up i would highly recommend the 42mm. Then again, it's all about preferences.
Cool review Rob, love Steinhart, I have 4 Ocean One’s in the 42, however Rob, that rubber strap I found to be extremely uncomfortable mate, had to take it of and bang on an after market leather strap, cheers mate. 👌👌👍👍
I was so excited when this watch was first announced that I ordered it immediately. Unfortunately it came with the dreaded misaligned GMT hand issue that plagued a number of these watches during the first production run. Steinhart quickly processed a return that was easy to execute. I do like the brand and have owned a total of six Steinharts over the years, so it was a little disappointing that this one didn't work out for me. Oh well -- you can't win them all.
@Cool Crush Ice Killa It's also about preference. I can pull off a 50mm+ lug to lug just fine looks-wise. But only if I didn't know better, would I consider it a comfortable/optimal fit.
This is a great watch. I have had one since 2020. It looks great on the wrist. I wasn’t a fan of the titanium bracelet, and replaced it with the Steinhart mesh band. This looks a whole lot better than the titanium bracelet.
Got the non gmt version in today, vids and pics do not do justice to it, it’s a very nice piece, my second steinhart, the other is an ocean one 39 on jubilee, honestly in hand these are very nice, clasp is only weak point but it’s not awful either 😎
I have been staying at 40mm and under but I tried on a Pelagos 42mm titanium this past weekend and it wore really well. Also more curvature to the lugs on the Tudor, but I have the OVM 39 and am impressed with Steinhart so far. I would definitely get this in the 39mm.
A GMT doesn't require a moving bezel but a dive watch does so you can set times on it. It doesn't put me off this watch as I bought one today. I will however be buying the non GMT as I have a Seiko presage sharp edge in the GMT. Arriving Tuesday is the Grand Seiko GMT chronograph, I mean if you're going to treat yourself you might as well go the whole hog.😃👍🏴
Great review Rob. I have this watch and performs as well if not better than my higher end watches. It is one of my favorite in my collection. The best watch for the bucks in my opinion. It is on par with a Sinn.
I've owned this Watch twice. It is a very good watch. But, if I'm being honest, I really didn't notice that much of a difference in weight with the titanium on this model compared to a stainless steel ocean 1 and 42 mm. Additionally oh, I really cannot get over the fact that the watch has inconsistent finishes and tones of titanium. The case and bracelet are pretty close but not perfectly matched. But, I find the worst offense in the clasp. I really do not understand why it is not rushed like the rest of the watch and it is Ashley significantly darker than the rest of the watch as well. I will say this part of the watch I do feel the titanium and it is super light. But, if you was a little too light and Ashley fuse kind of cheap because of that. I much prefer the 39mm version because the street loves are live it more manageable on my just under 7 inch wrist. I appreciate the weight of stainless steel more , and the stainless steel is easier to match with other hardware of aftermarket straps. Something about the dull grey titanium color and finish are less accommodating than the 39mm stainless steel version. That's the way I feel about it. I will agree this is probably steinhart best looking watch that's more original than not. The colors are excellent and the lume is pretty damn good too. and the price you can get them for with everything that you get including a display case back decorated movement and 500 meters water resistance is pretty good as well
Many people dont like Steinhart as they think they are homage watches, personally I am a huge fan of the entire Steinhart range of watches. The quality is exceptional on these watches for the price with ETA movements.
Could you fit a 24 mm band on this model cause I saw a band on there website that has a 24/22mm size band which I have no idea what that means does it mean that it could fit lugs between 24 and 22 or completely different
I just want to say I do not recommend steinhart, I received a ocean one with a faulty crown, which showed that there is little to no qc, the worst part was that steinhart ignored my emails for 3 weeks then when they did reply they told me I had to send it back to Germany at my cost for repair, not a replacement but repair, my example was poor and the customer service was even worse
That's not good! Funny how something like that can put you off a brand forever. I bought a new Oris Aquis on which the crown stem popped out within the first few days of ownership. Oris wanted to send it off for repair quoting a 6-8 week turn around. Thankfully I paid for it via Paypal who forced the seller to refund my money. Oris was TOTALLY were uninterested in helping me. I'd never touch the brand again. Have owned 5 or 6 Steinharts though, which have all been great.
"I'm just wearing bigger watches right now" I'm 6ft9, 260. I'll always be wearing a bigger watch... I've realised through watching these videos theres a lot of guys with girly wrists who cant even wear a 42.
