Many many guys are two faced, or more, when with their true peers. "Intimacy" with other guys means feeling free to share prejudices and hate, its often the only currency available.

People should look it it this way. If you work for a corporation and found out your boss, the person that you report directly to, had emails that surfaced spanning over 10 years making racist(specifically your race), misogynistic, and homophobic comments would you still want to work for them? If someone can have those views and say those words and nobody ever checked them on it or told them what they’re saying was wrong what would make me think they’re not saying those exact same things behind my back as well…
