Won only 1 playoff series and people call the LeBron Era Lakers a bust. At least Bron got them a ring this Nets team haven't done a thing but help other teams become contenders or insure that the other teams have a bright future ahead.

The day these two signed back in 2019, while pundits and podcasters were posting odds of each team winning a championship(s) going forward, I said that I didn't see ANYONE factoring in the Nets having brought a cancer to their team and that placing them among the favorites ignored the possibility that they should REALLY be at the bottom of any such ranking. No, I didn't call it a LOCK that they would never win anything, just that it was like putting up a structure on land where earthquakes were common. Sure, maybe one never hits and you're golden--or, what's happened numerous times before happens AGAIN and the whole thing comes down and you've thrown away your investment. In this case, because KD still has incredible value and Kyrie has, too (though exactly how much is unknowable at the moment), the Nets will recoup SOMETHING from this catastrophe, but--MAN!--did he (Kyrie) ever prove "Worst Case Scenario"! I mean, MAN! What's genuinely pathetic, however, is that KD appears eager (desperate?) to stay partnered up with the franchise-killer. What's Kyrie got on him?! Malika Andrews has grown so much. I never could stomach her but she has matured so much so that I look forward to seeing her everyday .
