What I learned from this docuseries is the Media has and will always be cruel against people of fame as if they're not human. For example, to me Jordan retiring after his dad was murdered, was completely normal. It made logical sense. But the media is twisted.

There was a part in episode 7 when MJ was talking about his leadership and they showed the team doing suicide drills. MJ was running faster and harder than everyone else, smiling!

It's like what MJ said in the earlier episodes. Winning comes with a price. When you are striving for greatness, you have to push it to the limit. Can't always be the nice guy

Scottie only looks bad for not going in the game for the last shot. Everything else is justified

The Last Dance has been great. It's sad it's nearing it'a end. As far as the season, it's all behind me now. The Last Dance was and will be the season for me.

Episode 7 was so good, we're completely forgetting the first scene when Jerry Krause was angry at Craig Sager for mentioning backstabbing. But a year ago, ESPN asked Magic Johnson about backstabbing.

There’s now way you can watch Mike and think “I’ve seen better”. This guy was and is the greatest to ever play!!!!

Seeing MJs faces watching GP talk about the finals series made me realize Kobe copied that man to scary lengths. Mike was a crazed killer.

The biggest thing i take from this documentary is that the eastern conference was tougher for the Bulls than the actual NBA finals series

The last few minutes of ep 7 were amazing...showed how much MJ wanted to win...by any means.

Pippen AND Jordan look bad at moments in the Doc. That's the point, to give us a well rounded look at these guys. They are humans above being athletes.

I learned so much from this documentary. Thank you MJ for never giving in or giving up. You ARE the GREATEST!

When Jordan was almost in tears I kind've felt sorry for him in the sense is i feel he doesn't get why people don't fully comprehend why he pushed them so hard and he did it to benefit the team to win rings. He didn't do it to intentionally be a bad guy on purpose. So i felt for the brother. They just didn't really understand him.

MJ : "I can't say I'm the goat. That'd be disrespectful to all the legends that I never had the chance to play against" Lebron : "Yep, that one made me the goat"

what I get from those episodes are; media are toxic AF. they all chased MJ out of the league all those mofos.

At the end of EP 7: "It's who I'm, that's how I played the game, that was my mentality. If you don't want to play that way... don't play that way." He was about to cry when he said that. The passion and dedication to win burns in him even after all these years.

that was part of MJ's grieving process... from playing baseball.. to going back to the NBA and his team.. to becoming a champion once more, and it fell on fathers' day... that was how he moved on from that tragedy..

I lost my father recently, and when I saw him drop to the floor in the locker roo.m and finally let it all out I cried. That feeling of being lost and you are now "the man" and encouraging your mother weighs heavily on the mind. He's the GOAT and no one can change my mind. Amazing series

His final speech was inspiring and so well put. It was also clear it wasn't scripted or rehearsed. Epic

MJ crying at the end of Episode 7 showed us how much he cares about how people view him and how sensitive he is, which is totally fine.

This documentary is well done, seeing all these events happen again is great love MJ

This documentary is amazing, especially being such a diehard Bulls and Jordan fan who watched just about every game during all those years. Hate that its coming to an end. Wish they would create more episodes from extra footage.

Yeah I started crying too because I followed Mike from 87 to 98 and then again from 2001-2003. I saw what he went through as a fan from a far . And I lost my father in 2001 so I know how all the emotions can come running out

i may end up watching this AWESOME series a gazillion times. basketball. the chicago bulls. 90s music. enjoyed every second of it.

This doc deserves an award! Great timing giving fans something to inspire laugh & be entertained during this difficult time! All the while confirming the obvious Mike is & will always be GOAT!

MJ sacrificed everything for the game of basketball. and he came out the Greatest Of All Time!

This was probably best 2 episodes for me. Man when they showed MJ crying on the floor with the ball after the Bulls winning it all in 96-97 season that got me there reliving that moment.

I honestly love how Mike & Scottie looks on the documentary because they both are human & show that they still can be dominant even with flaws because these days flaws are used as an excuse for failure

This series deserves an Oscar. Big love to all 80 and 90th players and great respect for MJ.

I cried when MJ cried at the championships (the first one and the Father’s Day one).

Episode 7 is the best episode so far imo. It opens up a window for us to peek into what makes Jordan the greatest player ever. Before, what I knew that makes him great was the numbers. Now, I have the ultimate respect for this goat 🤛🏿

Man people that say that MJ had a super team here you go take it, Michael worked hard to make this guys play at his level and that's what people didn't understand, he prepared them in practice for the season and playoffs games, mamba mentally???? That was MJ mentality, Michael was kobes mentor and he learned Michael's way and he became a champion, LeBron won't earn Jordan's heart because LeBron is soft

Episode 8 (VIII) 35:15min - the music overlay (KRS - Step into a world - Rapture delight, Blondie Rapture vocals) to the Rodman and Jordan leaving the dressing room for the court exudes '.....the Bulls mean business'. Love it.

Watching MJ tear up while talking about how he expects nothing but the best from his new teammates like Kerr and Longley just proved to me how much the game of basketball meant to MJ. Leave nothing on the court and win at all cost. A mentality that will serve us all well, on and off the court.

Michael is a hero for bullying teammates if they lost. You should never accept mediocrity.

This documentary is so real and raw it has made the current NBA season trivial to me especially with Covid, the Warriors injuries, and KD out. Sorry Lebron.

None of his teammates hate him for the way he led. They all understand that his way got them their rings. It was all worth the punishment. His way doesn't make friends but it makes champions.

We've all seen the video but I don't think I've ever heard the audio of that clip until now. Amazing.

These last two Episodes just let me know Kobe was and forever will be the Heir to the throne. Love LBJ but Kobe got that from his Dad and Mike-Mamba Mentality although it wasn't labeled as such back then.

And for Pippen I agree with him saying he’d do it all over again. It part of what made him great . Things you go through shape you into who you are now so I’m sure he meant it was a life lesson that fueled him in sport and off the court as well. He’s a great analyst . And I think because of how he and mike felt about Kukoc getting love from Krause before ever putting on a uniform pissed him off when Phil called the play for Kukoc . He may not have been mad if it was designed for anybody else . I’m sure of it !

Documentary is Phenomenal. To me it leaves zero doubt about who is the goat. I mean look at this dude, dominate his reality and everyone in it, he's unreal. One thing that stands out is how Jordan never had a shred of self doubt.

Scottie did admit that it was immature of him and he did apologise to his teammates. I dont See the doc showing him in bad light but in normal light. They are all human beings, do mistakes, be cruel or wrong sometimes, but thats what makes them great.

I watched episode 8 last night where Michael Jordan returned to MSG on March 25, 1995. In the event of the game known as "The Double Nickel Game", He averaged 55 points in his MSG performance against the New York Knicks.

Besides show how great Jordan was, these episodes have shown how brutal the media was against Jordan. Them trying to say that Jordan’s gambling was the cause of his father’s death. Probably why he’s tends to be very private.

Michael Jordan has a very brilliant mind the way Steve Job did. People with less complicated minds will never understand how or why they did those things. Many will never understand their methods to their madness...

My only complaint so far, and I haven't seen episode 8 yet, is that they're not painting the picture for the youngsters quite enough. The final series against the lakers deserved a more in-depth look because 1) it appeared at one point that he took on all 5 lakers and scored, and 2) the "spectacular move" as Marv Albert called it created a real time illusion that helped build his mythos. It appeared in real time as if he changed directions in mid air. It was as if he was at the front of the rim and he flew horizontally to the side of the rim to avoid defenders. In fact, I remember sports radio callers only 10 years ago saying "remember that time he changed directions in the air?". Also, they need to cover the illusion in his dunk from the free-throw line at the contest. The importance of that to his mythos can't be overstated. The illusion there was that he actually took flight because though he was only in the air for about one second, his release of the ball at the bottom of the arc created the illusion that he was in the air significantly longer. These things to Jordan were like the moonwalk to Michael Jackson.

After watching this doc, now I know Lebron would have been another Scott Burrell. Lebron is too nice, he would have been squashed in MJ's era.

That's one of my favourite MJ moments at all.

This documentary elevates Pippen and brings to light a couple of low points as well. Overall, every player that played on those teams are elevated. Jon Paxson, Hodges, Kerr, Grant, Cartwright, Wennington...all of them get their due for enduring all this with the best player ever. They all reaped the rewards of being associated with that greatness.
