Is there CGI technology to create a video where LeBron was saying that he wasn't 100% healthy so that they could justify sitting him out longer throughout games to help out the other team case in point tonight LeBron should have been in the game a whole lot more but the fact that they made that CGI video they are trying to act like LeBron's not a health and not at 100% when he is at 100%, they put them in the game with 4 minutes to go and a quarter and they left they don't and Frank Vogel is putting in Ben McLemore who's not playing any defense not making any shots taking bad shots and we have a guy who's a better shooter in Matthews and a better defender and and Frank vocal isn't playing him and he's not playing Marc Gasol who's a three-point shooter can space the floor and can rebound the ball

Cavs were 3rd in the East in 2018 at the time he made a statement about opposing the play-in tournament. He only supported it last year to give teams outside the playoffs a fair chance to get in due to the abrupt ending to the season.

@@worldisfilledb I mean the NBA is based completely on fan consumerism. Most fans don’t want to watch their favorite players sit out or favorite teams tank the last 10-20 games. Having competitive basketball at the end of the season is good for the NBA in my personal opinion.

@@worldisfilledb exactly what the magician said above, when the NBA regular season is more fun, that means more eyes on games which means more money. Plus, the play in tournament is a way for those teams that were struck with the covid bug a chance to make the playoffs. For example, the wizards, who had the covid bug hard at the beginning of the season but are now fully healthy and playing great basketball. But I really think the #1 reason this tournament is a thing is for more $$ to the league, the #2 reason is giving teams a chance. However, I still think it needs to be changed from 7,8,9,10 seeds, to 8,9,10 seeds. 9v10 whoever wins plays 8th seed and needs to win 2 times against the 8th seed, while the 8th seed would only need 1 win

@@mitchellajieroh i like it because every game still counts for the majority of teams this year--everyone fighting to avoid the play-in, everyone in the play-in fighting to get out or not drop out of the play-in, everyone on the verge of reaching the play-in. there's only about 5-6 teams that are set on tanking this year and maybe 7 teams who are in no danger of falling into the play-in (and even those teams are to some extent still jockeying for seeding position because they're pretty close in the standings).

That’s why they had the bubble in the first for teams like Blazers and the Suns to get their games done and see if they can make a deep run into the playoffs. It made sense for the bubble because of the circumstances and plus it was a rough year.

It's fine for him when he is not in that hole. He was fine with it when they played a tired, depleted, and injured blazers team who had to play those extra games to get in the playoffs. the first NBA game I went to was at the end of the season. I didn't realize that none of the stars would travel, and all of the home team stars would be in street clothes. the play in is better for fans. and for teams on the fringe.

I think play in game is good for smaller market teams. There or like 8 teams that have been competing for those last 2 positions in both leagues over the last month.

The play in makes up for the injuries, the shortened season, and it gives lower seeded teams something to fight for. It also discourages tanking. LeBron needs to stop making excuses and start dominating

Fr, I understand why him and Luka were mad because they had higher expectations for their seasons but they’re only thinking about themselves when complaining. The Wizards had tons of injuries and COVID stuff this season so they’d be tanking if there was no tournament. The leading scorer in the NBA and a guy averaging a triple double for the 4th season. Their team would be trying to intentionally lose games. The Warriors would be in the same boat. Extremely talented players not even playing for anything after the all star break because it’s more beneficial to tank

Great point AF. I do support the play in as a way to make up for the lost regular season games during these last 2 seasons of the Covid era. Not to mention going forward starting in the fall for the 21-22 full 82 games games played from Mid November and the NBA Finals. However if the play-in round does continue make it only for the #8 and #9 seeds in each conference. Plus on a radical proposal further developing SAS concern, if the #8 and #9 in 1 conference are below .500 winning pct. (example the below .500 teams are in the East) then the other conference in this case the West in my scenario would get the last 2 spots for the play in game.

Correction Perk.. Bron should be mad at himself and maybe his teammates. Him and AD didn't get injured at the same time. They really started losing when AD went out and Bron was healthy.

Honestly, the Lakers ain’t good right now. I said it before, the managers did a terrible job changing the whole squad. There’s a simple rule, you never change a winning squad, you can slightly upgrade it but surely not like the management did. They screwed up!

As a fan I'm Looking forward to the play-ins - the only tweak I would make for next season, and it would maybe make the players happier too, would be not to have 7-10, but instead, have 8-11 do a mini final four for the 8th seed - still exciting, still some chances for Lower teams, but 7th seed won't get anxious

The play in tournament is brilliant. I think it’s one of two of the greatest moves by the owners and Adam Silver. The other being taking the Clippers away from Donald Sterling. The tournament creates serious drama 🎭
