The owners care about one thing and one thing only in this scenario - what is the bar for us to lose a team. Set it too low (in their opinion), ie no audio or video evidence, and they'll be next. Most people don't understand how the system works. Use your head and not your feelings. If Adam silver chose to force sarver to sell, chances are sarver would appeal successfully due to the fact that there's no smoking gun. Yes sarver is a POS, yes there's plenty of allegations and affidavits but no that's not considered hard evidence. The suspension is better than nothing. If silver forced him to sell with no smoking gun, this could blow up an even worse way with a big law suit against the NBA along with the suspension potentially getting revoked completely. Stop complaining about stuff that you can't change. How about stop supporting the NBA. Y'all ever heard of a boycott? Stop sending your money to them and buying their products, stop watching their videos, etc. The players have the power to boycott. Don't preach about change unless you're willing to do everything necessary to help the cause. In silver's position he chose the most viable option. Chances are that this doesn't end well for sarver anyway.
