Shoutout to Lonzo man, fed Zion when he was hot, gave him confidence and stopped him from getting called back to the bench early so he could catch a rhythm, that's something a seasoned vet would do.

I mean of course maybe he didn't look to be in his true form, he doesn't entirely know what to expect. It's his first ever career basketball game. Although he's gotten little experience from the preseason, now is the real deal, he's up against the best of the best, against players like deamar. Also to mention coming of an injury, he’s just getting back into his own game. He just hasn't hit groove yet so it's absolutely fine and expected that he doesn't "look all the way like himself ".

I watched the game while walking on the treadmill at the gym last night. Man the hype around this kid is real... it's so obvious hes still trying to get healthy and he looked incredible in that 4th quarter... I had no idea he could shoot 3 pointers like that. The pelicans are by far the most interesting team in the league right now. With ball, hayes, Ingram and Zion the ceiling on this team is off the charts.

Dom Hopson you didn’t see the game, he didn’t look great, you could tell he was not totally in shape which is understandable because you’re being put in the nba in the middle of the season in your rookie year. He was good, he really was just shooting threes that were wide open.

Dom Hopson he’s not injured they would not have put him out there if he was still injured. Yeah it was good but if you look at the totality of the game he didn’t look great. Part of that is on the pelicans he really couldn’t get into a rhythm with how they were playing him

Zion needs to look at d-rose and take lesson from his career marred by injuries. D-rose looks really good right now because he's figured out how to hold back his tendency to be explosive yet be effective by better developing his mid-range game .
