I came to this video because I was so confused at gym and darent ask anyone! I see so many people using them wrongly like you'd shown above and I thought I was doing it wrong because of them!!

I remember discovering this machine in a gym and fell in love with it. I always get headaches when using a cross trainer or treadmill so I since then wanted a stepper for myself at home 😂

Is there a video that teaches the benefits of a Stair stepper for running, I use this machine for about 55 minutes with music, at different levels to enhance my running. But I am looking for the science of a stepper for runners.

Has anyone tried using music while using this? For instance on a regular stairmaster I listen to music at 90 bpm which sorta double as I speed it up.

Yes. I find it easier to fit music to this machine because the full size stair machine has more discrete tempos. This has a discrete range of lowering speeds, but you can vary the rise height to fine tune to a song tempo, and you can take a smaller or larger step if you go out of pace with the song.

You can touch the bottom but shoot right back up, which will work your whole lower body not just a portion of your legs. The higher the level the easier it is to paddle, but the faster you have to go just to keep the upright position, and that's where the challenge begins.

No! You use this stepper if you want to lose weight or fat, but you have to use it for a minimum of 20 minutes at a moderate level.

the guy is totally wrong about the stepper the supports are there for a reason, if you like my self use the stepper on max level you will see and feel the difference doing it his way is boring and you will not burn as many calories as you would if you increased the level and used the supports.

ati832 Increasing your level is great but holding on means you aren't actually doing the work. The calorie count on the machine isn't accurate then and doesn't know you're taking half the work off your legs. Common sense man.

It's not for support it's for safety so that if someone looses balance or slips then to hold it and protect themselves from falling.

The way they show it here looks boring to me zzzzzzz. I put my music for a whole hour while I dance and I end up sweating soooo much. I usually use 4 medium towels for 1 hr cardio😄

Believe me, you can train on this stepper as if you were running, just put it on a moderate to a high-level like 12 - 14, and you will sweat more than you think and the cardio and strength benefits will do more for you and for your physical health than dancing. Steppers are for serious people, not for the weak of heart.
