No detune, no auto tune, no backing tracks, still hitting the notes! Mr. Tyler is showing the current music scene how it should be done. The man is damn professional and his vocal instrument is freak of nature. Man he rocks!
Man, I can't beieve he's still singing as great as he used to in the 70's Edit: wow it's been almost six years and people still reply to this comment. That's nice. Long live rock and roll. Hope y'all doing well.
Eh, he actually sounds much different now. He ruined his voice by drinking vodka and heroin mixed together, thats why he does the hair metal sounds because he can't hit the harmonic notes since the late 80s. He still sounds good but different.
@James Stanley that screaming is a talent and skill, bro. I haven’t heard much of his live stuff pre-1990s, but the way he combines almost pig squealing with high pitch singing now doesn’t sound that different from back then. He was a bit heavier on it, but I think it’s as much wisdom/experience borne caution as much as wear and tear from ripping it. Either way it still sounds phenomenal, which is proof that he’s one of those people where the rules don’t really apply.
@@miguelthekewlkid272 Talk with a voice coach you would be surprised. It is not a coincidence that the top singers have very large mouth that rings like a bell.
Thank you, Joanne! Your comment made me smile from ear to ear. It's fans like you who make all the hard work worth it. I'm honored to have your support and encouragement.
There's a few front men who seem to get better with age.... Tyler is up there, along with Roger Daltrey & Eddie Vedder that seem to just get better as the years roll on. Saw James play last year, who I grew up listening to. And Tim Booth was amazing, much better than I remember in my teens
Thank you so much, Joan! Your comment is a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do. I'm thrilled that my music has touched your life in some way. Keep on jamming!
Hello, thank you for your comment and support, your comment and constant support has brought me this far, Keep supporting❤️ Send me a mail via officialsteven.tyler48@gmail.com
Look at most of the crowd when the camera goes there. You have legends in broadcasting, music, and acting. Robert Downey Jr. is one example and there are hundreds of others. I listened to the whole show live and Howard had video on his website for a while. It's amazing the talent that was there to perform and some to just enjoy the show. Search Howard Stern BDay Bash (60th or 2014) and you can find some still up.
I agree: No detune, no auto tune, no backing tracks, still hitting the notes! Mr. Tyler is showing the current music scene how it should be done. The man is damn professional and his vocal instrument is freak of nature. Man he rocks!
Hello, lovely fan ❤️... I'm using this medium to appreciate you in particularly as a fan of mine .. thanks for your likes and comments and I want you to keep supporting me while I bring more entertainment your way ... love you ❣️...
Troy go on, we all have favourites and it is a qualitative opinion, but there isn’t that many superior. Sure Clapton, Page, Hendrix, Beck, Page, May, Townsend etc, but he is up there.
Jimi hendrix, Van halen, bb king, eric clapton, buddy guy, rhandy rhodes, jeff Beck, jimmy Page, joe satriani, stevie ray vaughn, duan alman, ed king, Steve lukather, tommi iomi, keith richards, carlos santana >slash I could name more.Don't get me wrong, he is good and i love his tune but skill wise he is to limited
I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO AEROSMITH SINCE I WAS 7 YEARS OLD (1972) AND TO THIS DAY I STILL LOVE IT LIKE I DID WHEN I HEARD WALKING THE DOG AS A SMALL CHILD...HE IS THE GREATEST ROCKSTAR OF ALL TIME PERIOD THERE IS ONE BETTER
I've been listening to Aerosmith since the day I was born and my brother has all of Steve Tyler's records in his room. If there is one great rock band who defines the late seventies and eighties it is Steve Tyler and Aerosmith. Aerosmith Rocks!
An awesome performance by both of them. Memories of when I was young are flooding back. Steven and slash are such pioneers in music and performance. Rock on dudes!!!!!
3:45 Steven is now basically a 118 year-old woman at this point and STILL has that voice. The deal he procured with the Devil was a good deal. Satan got screwed, I'd say.
@@midjorecko3797 As others pointed out, dem high notes, but also have you seen the shots of him in a bathrobe with that luxurious head of hair and big lips he's got? If you ignore what's going on under the clothes, 118 year old woman sounds about right!
i wish I could get old, as I am, and be happy that my facial skin is hanging from my skull and still be as good looking as Steven Tyler. and I wish I could have one redeemable quality, like a talent for singing, to cause all the people to look past that.
Steven Tyler is among the top five rock vocalists in history without a doubt. The guy has had his vocal chords surgically repaired and still sounds freaking amazing. It's funny, I've watched a dozen vocal performances tonight on youtube between 2014 and 2016 and the guy is just flawless every time. He must really take care of his chops. Nice to see.
@3:50 - That's what real, actual talent looks like folks. He's been crushing the shit out of that since 1973. Meanwhile the "stars" of today can barely keep up their level for 5 years, never mind 5 decades.
I met the entire band in 1998 in Philadelphia with John Brown (Brownie) what a great group of guys, awesome musicians! They played Rats In The Cellar for Brownie, we miss you Brownie your never forgotten my friend!
Every time when I look in the mirror All these lines on my face getting clearer The past is gone It went by, like dusk to dawn Isn't that the way Everybody's got the dues in life to pay I know nobody knows Where it comes and where it goes I know it's everybody sin You got to lose to know how to win Half my life Is books, written pages Live and learn from fools and From sages You know it's true, oh All the things come back to you Sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear Sing with me, if it's just for today Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear Sing with me, if it's just for today Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away Dream on Dream on Dream on Dream until your dreams come true Dream on Dream on Dream on Dream until your dream come through Dream on Dream on Dream on Dream on Dream on Dream on Dream on, ah Sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear Sing with me, if it's just for today Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away Sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear Sing with me, if it's just for today Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away
Axlaldrin Ramos I have to agree but axl rose has gotten old and fat and he can’t sing most of the notes he could in appetite for destruction the original album
Erik i have follow you since 1990 when you stand in the studio i IDOL and taking on 18 and life with a guitar i love you then and i love your voice even mor now you are great and a voice from the angels.Keep up the good work this is world class.

Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears.....Screaming at the top of my lungs and I can still appreciate me some Steven Tyler~
Steven Tyler the best rock singer ever...forget about others he stands strong throught out the years...he is the real legend among the others...no other rock band or singers sound like him at his age...none
