That's why I always thought reactors are important. Keeping stuff from years ago alive and it's also why I hate when videos and music is blocked. I know...copyrights ..money....but you guys aren't stealing ..you're keeping legends alive for younger generations who might not have ever discovered it. Keep it up!

Double Trouble hombre is one of the best bands of all time!!!!! There is a reason Stevie picked these dudes to back him up for all those years!!!!! Each one of these musicians are fantastic in their own way/instruments!!!!! Just saying!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!!! 😎🍸

Hello from Spain, It is a pleasure to see how, to this day, the legacy that Steve Ray left us continues to move many people I was discovered by a guy who died recently and now they go hand in hand. God bless my brother Javi and God bless Stevie Ray...maybe they're together making music up there.

Thank you for keeping his music alive, what’s really sad is Stevie passed away on the exact same day and month as his father just 4 years later.

He peaked-as an old, I loved him, but I’m glad that you like him, too! If you like the blues, watch SRV perform ‘Tin Pan Alley’ with Johnny Copeland at Montreux 1985. Also try his Voodoo Chile from El Mocambo, then take a listen to how much he put Jeff Beck on the skids with Riviera Paradise-❤

Check out “Cold Shot”! It has a video, but if you can find a live version. The video is funny, but it’s a little distracting from what he was actually doing. Also, check out “The Vaughan Brothers”, with his brother Jimmy, from “The Fabulous Thunderbirds”. More soul, less shredding, but great songs!

I ran out and bought the very first album right after he hit the air waves and have all his music. We didn't have the web back then and he wasn't on any TV show that I can think of. Either that or I was to busy partying to have noticed. Not enough is said about Stevie's voice though, if you ask me. That voice fits perfectly with his style of music.

Hey, BizMatik... Great to see you. So many are finally experiencing SRV and his magic because of reactors like you. I'd like to see you react to Stevie Ray and Double Trouble doing "Leave My Girl Alone" from 1989 at Austin, TX: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vdxF48KfYNA.html SRV literally seethes with the vocals in this one, and matches the emotion by making his guitar respond like bees whose hive has been poked with a stick. Angry swarms pouring out in waves! If you don't leave his girl alone, you better run for your life!

I grew up in Austin & only got to see Stevie once when he came out & played w/ Jimmy's band, the Fabulous T-birds & played a double neck guitar with him. I was pretty young at the time. But I think the world knew how great Stevie was before he passed. The last concert he was at the top of his game. Please check out "Blues before Sunrise" w/ Albert King. You won't be disappointed & Albert tells a great story.

That was a slick guitar switch but I seen a video from KISS and the dudes hair catches fire and they ran on stage put it out , styled it and he never stopped for a second lol

No one reactor has done my favorite Stevie Ray song called May I Have A Talk With You from the Austin show not one, he does an amazing job on that song.i totally agree with you, he was absolutely amazing but he never got to see how people today really love and enjoy his music. I know he worked so hard even playing until his calluses fell off and he super glued them back on hoping his Father would tell him he done a good job because his father was an abusive alcoholic who would abuse Stevie Ray and his older brother Jimmy Vaughan but his father passed away never telling him that but I think seeing all the love he gets today he would have loved it. Love me lots of STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN THE GOAT

Reese Wynans on keyboard, ticklin' the "ivories" (more likely "plastics" nowadays!). Tommy Shannon (bass) and Chris Layton (drums) -- quite the tight 4-man combo, eh?!

Live Mary had a little Lamb, live Couldn't Stand the Weather, Live, Texas flood.... And I agree DT is an awesome band on itself. That's happened before ,when he broke a string and just switched guitars. Sick. Just sick. On the night he died, he opened for Clapton. And Clapton said after SRV was done, "I have to follow that?" Plus Stevie played on the let's dance album for Bowie. He did the solo. Stevie and DT were all that and more.

Mannn....I HAVE to suggest Jerry Lee Lewis playing piano live. He was famous as a rocker, but killed it with honky-tonk piano. He has some great stuff from Austin City Limits. (Dare I say not just great, but "Killer")
