Nice video and explanation! Two summers ago our JD 5410 clutch cable broke at the pedal, wasn’t a fun replacement and it only went to a point halfway under the cab instead of all the way to the back like yours.

Hope the clutch cable doesn't have to be replaced. That sounds like a super long process to replace. Have a fine week, Chris. 👍🏽🙂

Doesn't take much to make things not work. Dried antisleize, dried grease.. all makes things sticky. Nice fix Chris!

My experiences with that were usually putting new springs on and a new cable since the old one stretch out over time and that was after 11,000 hours lol

Ha ha Chris! My Massey 596 had a very similar issue :( I had to break a few cables before I got smart ;) The 596 has grease zerks on the throw-out cross shaft, but one zerk was not taking. I also drilled and placed a zerk on the pedal shaft in the cab. I am not a big fan of cable activated clutches...If you have a cable, you need to keep everything lubricated!

nice! them push pull cables can get sticky, sometimes not pleasant but might simply need replacing.

New tools? Oh boy! Someone once said you should look at every project as an opportunity to buy a new tool.

Our 5250 tractor won't move in forward or reverse. It feels like the tractor is trying to move, but it doesn't have enough power to move. The clutch disengage light it not on, so were not sure what is wrong. Have you ever had this issue?

Hi, could you help? I have a CASE 7210 MAGNUM. The problem is that you need to use a clutch when changing gears. Everything I could have I changed but no one helps. Thanks for the reply

Anti-seize is just for helping things not seize together, like bolts. Why people think it's a lubricant is beyond me. Seen more than one time anti-seize was a problem. Glad it wasn't the cable.

I’ve also had worn out clutch pedal bushings make the clutch stick as well what’s the horsepower on that tractor
