A combination of that cool air, the water, sunrise, heavy sweatshirt and some great coffee… heaven on earth. Great video Dennis. Shopping cart was funny 😆. Looking forward to Florida 🌞⛵️🏝
Hah! You sound like a gal who enjoys the fall, Jennifer. Slip on that sweater, prop up those tootsies on wool socks, and enjoy a nice read next to the fireplace - and maybe drop in a video or two when sipping your cocoa. So great to have you on this journey, Jenny.
Hah! As every boater knows - stuff breaks, the activity can be expensive, and sometimes it's downright scary. So, dreams can also occur with nightmares. I say this because your dream can stay as it is - a bit if a fantasy, perhaps - or you can jump in with both feet. Do what is right for you - striking a balance is becoming more and more valuable to me all the time. I hope this channel is helpful for whatever adventure you choose. Good luck
Yeah, when I dropped my CQR into the old crab pot rope in Charleston, it had all the holding power of a bowling ball. Yes, I also need my beauty sleep . . . Now, more than ever. 😅 Thank you so much for staying awake through these videos.
Been watching you, think if you just relax and be yourself would be pretty good.Slow down and talk like you’re talking to your best friend.I thought Mantus gave all RU-vid sailors a free one 🥴like your Catalina because I have a one too.Keep going and enjoy your journey 👍👍
Geez, I don't know that I could be anybody except who you see - 'cause I sure can't act. Aaaaaah-hah-hah-hah! Cough! Hack!! But I may seem rushed or uncertain at times on camera - stuff could be happening or I'm just proving I'm an amateur who is lucky to have you watching. And that Mantus is quite the priece of steel - lots of stories out there about them performing well in some tough conditions. You have chosen well, Sir - and thanks for the tip.
Hey, I appreciate all the support - there are times when I really can get over humps because folks like you are making this trip with me. Thanks again for being supportive
Hey Dennis, hope all is well. Got to see you when you went by my dock in Brewerton, NY. Now I am in Sebastian, FL. Let me know if you will be on the inter-coastal around Sebastian. Be great to see you again
I'm keeping my 35 pound CQR as my backup and Bahama double anchor. The CQR may seem undersized but the boat and anchor graph out fine - that said, it's great in mud and semi-solid sediment. It held fine in plenty of places but the fluff/pluff of the Carolins wasn't solid enough to forestall a bit of migration. So, a 65 pound Mantus is a pretty big hammer to use when i need it - and mostly when I don't. Hey, thanks again for continuing to Crew on this adventure.
Oh it's me Beth. I changed my name because we're going to take our camper to Florida in February. Thought I might add a few RU-vid videos. You inspired me!
