I truly enjoy your videos. The internet has erased the common courtesy guide of “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” To those I say, “Shame on you.” Keep sharing your content and talk away, Miss Pattymac!
Thank you!! I do try to take criticism as constructive, but yeah, people have no filter anymore. And many people are impossible to please no matter what you do. I just continue to do my best. I'm not perfect and don't claim to be, but I always do my best.
Oh my. There is always a critic in the crowd. You have to be tough when your're a RU-vidr and ignore the people who feel free to express their unsolicited opinions. It's interesting really, because they are watching a free video. A gift of sharing. Geeze. Anyway, I have enjoyed all your videos. I just got the MSQ embroidery kit with the denim squares and I could not be more thrilled. They have put out some beautiful packaging with these two kits.
It's kind of funny really, but sometimes it is a valid point, so I do try to address things that are constructive criticism. The same people who complain about a presentation also complain if you market your other channels or blog or whatever or if you share affiliate links. I don't know how they think we keep this stuff going. We still have bills just like everyone else and the affiliate income really helps. And for Heaven's Sake, we're all shopping there when we shop anyway! Oh I know what kit you're talking about, and YES it's just beautiful. MSQC does a beautiful job on all of their presentation and packaging, don't they?
So glad I found your video today, I just followed your link and bought the embroidery kit I do quite a bit of embroidery so this will work as a great case for projects on the go. O also pre-ordered the Ingrid's Wildflowers kit.
Dear Patty, I’m a beginner. Looking forward to venturing into this awesome kit; I’ve watched a couple of Natalie’s videos. We can accomplish anything with MSQC. Yes, I’m a huge fan! I also purchased “Ingrid’s Denim Quilt Kit” & “Heirloom Embroidery Quilt Kit.” This is going to be quite an adventure & definitely a treasure/heirloom! So excited!🧵🪡✂️
That is absolutely wonderful!! You can always hoop up practice fabric and stitch on that to get the hang of things and then stitch the beautiful printed panel.
Thank you!! I have missed it so much. Finding a balance with my time has been so difficult. But I'm determined to take it up again. I love the craft so much.
Thank you I’m certain I’ve seen this video before. Just had to let you know that I jumped in. Ordered the kit and a few zen tangle bits as well. This is my therapy. I’ve been sick for the last six weeks, but started out with a sore throat. Wound up congestion had a wellness check waited till then doctor gave me some antibiotics, so I think I’m on my recovery I have a few sips. Now I have a lovely caring case with all sorts of cool stuff coming. oh by the way, I don’t think you talk too much or too little. I will say this you have a very pleasant voice. Not all RU-vid craft person have pleasant voices sometimes those voices great on my ears I’m not saying who, because that would be unkind, but I’m sorry it is what it is, but you have a perfectly lovely voice, love your haircut too.
This is a wonderful kit, cute, small, and comes complete with everything you need. Right now they are out of stock and need to be preordered. Thank you for this tutorial.
I was on the fence on ordering this and the Ingrid Wildflower kit. I also have some hippo and Besties fabric by Tula Pink in the cart too. I think I'll go ahead and order it. I can see that Owl stitched with DMC Coloris floss which I love and wish they would come out with more colors in it. Like variegated but the colors changes quickly. I've loved surface embroidery since HS in the 70's. It comes and goes but since CH and BB (not sure if I can mention those shops here) I got back into it. I use the muslin on the back too because CH suggests it. I never used to do that and I do think it helps keep the stitching from puckering so much. I have several projects traced and colored it with color pencils, which I prefer over the stinky crayon method. Ready to start stitching soon. I love x-stitch, quilting, wool applique, crochet & so much more. I started a QAYG Hexagon quilt (featured on Emma Jones YT) and I'm stitching it all by hand. I'm hoping my pieces will fit in this project bag...double duty. I love French Knots, never tried the colonial that some use and I'm trying to improve my bullion knots via Mary C. I also love to add beads and sequins.
P.S. Arthritis is beginning to give me more aches & pains. I make (& buy) needle minders from pins and one trick if you're having trouble dislodging the magnet is to glue a decent size button on the magnet, let it dry really good, then you can grip and remove it easier. Be sure you glue it on the correct side. Put them together and mark the side you want the button on. Some people use the needle minders as pins on their shirts to get more use out of them.
That was a ton of great tips!! Thank you! I think you will love this as a project bag. And you can always use the supplies in there even if you don't need to do the sampler, it's still pretty cute when it's finished. I love the owl and I think after I do the sampler, I'm definitely going to do the owl. I hope you enjoy all of your purchases! You cart sounds awesome. I just love that Besties line. SO CUTE!!!
@@PattymacMakes At first I didn't think the link was working but after I clicked on check out, all the discounts showed up so I went back and got the Creative Grids Dresden Ruler which I've wanted for a long time. They are so $$$ but my fav brand of rulers so thanks to you and MSQC for the discount!

Thank you Cathy! I try to be balanced, but some people want more. Some want less. I don't think it's possible to please everyone. I received your surprise package yesterday!!!!!! Oh my gosh! Thank you!! I'm going to wait and open it on camera when I film videos again this week!! And I'll show the last package you sent me as well. I started filming that one and I had camera trouble so I couldn't finish it. But it's still sitting there waiting for me to finish the filming.
