How much fun today was! You have so much energy and stay so busy accomplishing a myriad of projects. Then, you also have time to read. I read the Little Liar; it was so emotional and left such an impression on me. Thanks for the visit!
I enjoyed your company while I worked on the binding for a quilt. When people complain about the weather, I often think about what you've said about your mother! Happy stitching and enjoy your retreat!
Congrats on winning the bat stitch from Audrey I like that one also…I love her current one. Now that you revealed your April Fool stitch I do recollect you sharing that pattern. Mixed weath bag the last few days here. No rain but clouds and cooler weather and then sunshine!
Just love watching you. You have a pretty smile. You always uplift me when I am down.I just feel like you are a treasured friend. I do love that you saved your moms sticky notes. My mom had a few coupons in her purse when she died. I saved them because she loved her coupons. Thank you for being you my friend...signed Kathy
Enjoyed the visit and seeing Enzo sitting up this time. Your Away We Ride is gorgeous. I , too, am doing the monthly minis. Just kitted up my first one, April. I love it. Thanks for the tip on the concentration level needed for it. Loved your comment on the committee. 😂 I can relate. Take care 🥰
Hi I love all your starts an wipes I haven't done my April mini quilt yet I am getting ready to start frosty tiny town by heart an hand got to find the thread an get started it has turned cold snowy ice here I live in the line of solar eclipse for tomorrow from Indiana
Hi Anna, Enjoyed your video 🙂 Arthur the King was a great movie - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Oh NO - the bikes on the zip-line 😳 NO WAY!! Have a great weekend, What's left of it 🎉
Beautiful work on your Away we Ride. Your “whip it good “ silk colour is perfect. Enzo is getting ready to kick back, he’s trying to kick his shoe off 😅
Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker was like that for me - I had to keep stopping and checking on the facts! He (AL) has always been a favorite of mine so this was an exceptional book as for as I was concerned. I just received the dressmaker's autobiography and am looking forward to reading that too!
I don't do Facebook or Instagram because I got hacked and I got tired of dealing with it. I am a Long time stitcher but no longer have an LNS so I enjoy watching the floss tube things to see the designs and then I can check out the websites and order what I like. I would love to have a Group to stitch with but I will but maybe someday. Thanks for sharing your life😊
I live in the "we expect snow" in mountains of Colorado. April is the third snowiest month in Denver. We have had fake Spring and got 6-8 inches in the last 24 hours at my house. It's hard to know for sure because we had high winds too. The power company shut down power to Boulder because the winds were so high they didn't want live power lines sparking fires.
@stitchroadie4076 it's totally expected and we are fine with it. We live against the Continental Divide at about 9000 ft. I hate hot weather so I'm happy.
Another joyful visit with you. I always enjoy the time I spend in your company, especially when I have the unpleasant task of frogging... 🐸 Thank you for making this task not be such a chore. Take care! 💐
I'm stitching on the monthly minis too. I didn't start with March. I loved July so that was my start. I just finished April and have May ready to start on. I decided to not do them all on the same fabric. I'll probably do a few on on fabric and change to something else. Yes I had to change something on it!! LOL You answered my question before I could ask it. Did you get a frame for the Mill Hill stitch. yep I see where you did. I got one of my brothers to make me the frames. I just found 2 Mill Hill kits I've probably had for close to 20 years. LOL One day I plan on stitching them. LOL I did use the small frame for some beachy stitches that I saw Helen D do I believe last year. Worked great.
Heh friend!!! Every time I see your Away We Ride, I want to start it sooner rather than later because the colors are fantastic! That picture on the front does not do it justice. I need to get some type of rotation going on because right now my modus operandi is to get something almost done and then switch to something new. AAAhhhggg. Almost finished is NOT finished, but my brain does not seem to get it...yet. I've now switched to making a small for the PNWSS. The way I procrastinate, I need to get it done by summer LOL. Working full time is a good thing I know as I need the $$ for this house of rescues (and my hobbies of course), but it also causes a creative challenge LOL...time, just never enough. Speaking of weather, we woke up to frost on the perennials this morning. They are all covered with sparkle. Thank goodness they are used to this Ohio weather. We are hoping for clear skies up here on Monday since we are in the line of totality for the big event. I took tomorrow off as I'm not about to brave the traffic in Cleveland as every hotel for miles around is booked because of the Eclipse, Women's Basketball, and the baseball home opener!! . Lets hope they are not disappointed. Hugs from NE Ohio.
Jeannine flew out to be standing in totality! 😂 I feel ya… if I didn’t have my book of days I’d be in a world of hurt but the stars ⭐️ I’m a sucker 😂 I need to start working on a small😱
Anne you are so amazing!!!! Never a dull moment, wonderful start to my day👌. If I could join you at a retreat, would be so much fun. Loads of laughter. Love you❤
Hello Anna, we are in the “If you don’t like the weather wait a minute, it will change! It has been windy all night with snow flurries! Poor daffodils will be woeful. Working on there be dragons and a few patriotic smalls finishing a dragon quilt for a grandson birthday! Happy Sunday!
Every time I spend time with you on your channel, it is like I am just hanging with a friend or a good neighbor. You have the gift of putting people at ease with your humor and in the moment banter. I love your videos, as well as your fabulous stitching! Thank you so much!! And also...thank you for enabling me; I went out and bought the Pollinator pattern from Etsy before the end of your video! 🤣🤣 You never fail to cheer and spread joy...best wishes alway.
Anna when you held up the frame, you reminded me of the Romper Room show in 1950's where they looked through a hand held mirror(minus the mirror) saying_____Romper bomper stomper boo--tell me tell me-tell me do"______I have never thought of that show till just now!!! What we carry in our old minds😜😜😜😜❤❤❤😂
Did you watch the movie, Leave the World Behind (Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke)? I just finished the book by the same name and enjoyed it. Didn’t really like the reader at first but then I guess I got used to her. There were a lot of differences between the book and the movie, but the story was the same, and it kept moving. You might enjoy it.
Dear Anna, you’re always so much fun when you visit. Thank you for coming around to see us. I have seen that some tubers have a link where visitors can “buy them a cup of coffee” to thank them for their videos. Do you think you will ever do that? I would love to be a contributor. Bye for now!
