A b18b1 with stock internals can hold up to 11lbs of boost safely. The compression is lower than the other stock honda motors, thats why you can go above 8 or 9lbs on a stock block. Either way you need to do what this guy did and get bigger injectors and a tune...while you're at it you might as well get a block guard and a cometic head gasket also
you know, i know this is quite old. but my dad boosted a b18b on 7 psi it put down 223 at the wheels and it had a ported and polished head full 3 inch exhaust and it was a tubular manifold and had a big bore throttle body on it with stage two cams. and i have a guy trying to tell me that he doesnt know what cams he has in his b18a but it has 410 injectors and and a tune on it running 8 psi and is making 261 whp... and hes trying to tell me that "its all in the tune bro"
