Hi Lina!! I listen to ur videos every night bc it helps my insomnia so much and no one else works as good as u!! I was wondering if u could make some more layered story videos that have a long countdown, they are the ones that help me the most it’s just so great on my brain. Thank u for helping me every night 🖤🖤
How serendipitous, I'm actually having an anxiety attack, and I really want to avoid a full blown panic attack. Thank you so much for this, for I'm needing this now. Peace be with you ❤
It's weird 😳 I started working on this topic a few weeks ago but felt a need to really streamline it. I've been so busy because I'm moving but something kept bugging me to write it before I do anything else.
Thank you 🙏 Lina , I suffer with panic disorder pretty much and have 3/4 panic attacks a week , and they scare the poo out of me as I live alone and my family don’t care , so yet again thank you 🙏
I hope this helps you. I think you can conquer them with time if you allow all the awful feelings and just sit with them and observe what's happening in your body rather than trying to make them go away. Take care 💖💐
I cried tears of happiness and gratitude from this. This helped me so greatly. I use your videos to help me get through these toughest of times. I really can’t thank you enough. I’d like you to become my first patreon. You deserve more than what I can give but telling you in a RU-vid comment how you’ve helped change my life just isn’t enough. I was told about you by a paramedic that was coming over for my panic attacks. Of all the trips to the hospital and medications, that was the best advice anyone has given me. “Try meditating. Have you heard of Lina Grace?”
I am humbled to get a recommendation from the paramedic 🙌 Panic attacks are not fun! I'm so happy this has helped you and brought you some comfort. Please take good care and nurture yourself whenever you can ❤️🕉️✨💐
That's a trickier issue that would need more specific content, but one strategy would be gradual exposure over time driving when there is less traffic, with some kind of reward at the end for your efforts. Example: driving on a short section of a freeway on a day/time when there is hardly any traffic, with a reward of your choice afterwards. Gradually increase the length of freeway until you can tolerate more, and then try driving at busier times in short sections when you feel less anxious. Keep increasing the rewards based on your "effort". Research the map in your area and set up routes, write them down and next to that in the next column write the reward you're going to give yourself when you accomplish each trip. Start with smaller goals and keep increasing them. Make a little box that you will check off as you go through your list. When you see those boxes being checked off one by one, you will feel like you can do more. Don't do any trips when you're rushed and stressed beforehand. Do them when you feel more calm and think of them as little "missions" to accomplish. I hope this helps, driving on the freeway is anxiety producing for many people. As long as you drive safely in a car in good condition, you keep the risk low. Also maybe also try and figure out if it makes it better or worse to have someone in the car with you and take that into consideration.
I think I found you on a Spotify a few years ago and started listening to a bunch of other guided meditation programs, but you are truly the best most relaxing and so easy to follow even when I’m very distracted. I’m so happy that you’re continuing to put out your work. Thank you!
Thank you for this Lina, I've suffered with panic attacks for many years, most of the time I can get myself out of them, there's 2 ways that help me, first If I'm out say in a shopping centre I make sure where I know where the exits are because I near fresh air and second is that I try and breathe threw it until I feel safe, I'm glad that you've made this video because any advice is helpful, I feel that if I had your voice at hand that I wouldn't suffer with this anymore, your voice is just so relaxing and calming, much love sweetie 🙏 💛 💚 💙
I hope the video helps too. It looks like you're learning to handle them. If there are some anxieties or phobias attached, such as association with certain places or situations, then you could look at ways how to gradually desensitize from them, or reframe the way you think about them. Just an (unrelated) example - in a job interview you would be anxious because you are attached to the outcome or how you are perceived, so you would reframe it a few different ways. Such as - I don't even care if I don't get this job, something else will come up...If they don't like me it's for the best because it means we would not get along anyway...etc. I gave you an unrelated example because it feel less personal this way. If you're in a crowded shopping center, keep yourself distracted with what you're going when you get home, or alternatively only go there for a specific thing and keep your stay short, and get a treat along the way.
@@lyndabrennan4560 Thanks! You too Lynda. 🤔I just noticed that I missed a few words in my message. It should have said "keep yourself distracted with what you're going to do when you get home". That's a little future pacing trick to keep your mind occupied on other things.
