When you have a herniated or bulging disc in the lower back causing sciatica, avoiding stretches that put your spine into flexion or hyperextension is important.
If you have a herniated or bulged disc, you may push the material further out by over-flexing or hyper-extending.
Focus on keeping your back neutral in most stretches.

Thank you so much. Ive been doing these stretches for years. Ive had primiformis syndrome/ sciatica now for 4 years. Doesnt seem to want to go. Very chronic, very painful constantly. No relief what so ever. Cant sit for long, or drive.
