What's so crazy watching this in 2017 is hearing him say things like "shook" and "take an L", which have only very recently become popular in mainstream culture and lingo. Among other thing's he has said years ago, but I just find it interesting how these things are only really becoming popular now.

I think your friend has 2 indenties. The way he is when he's around his white friends and the way he is with you when you're alone. This was just the first time you saw the other side. Like minded people hang together. He knows how his friends feel about black people and secretly he feels the same way. He is an associate not a friend. Don't through the F word around. He doesn't deserve it. #realtalk

That's one reason I just had to stop hanging out with my "white" friends. It got to the point where they were using the "n" word around me, which was fine at first because they weren't doing it in a racist way and I was like, my family uses it all the time, I know people say it no matter what, what's the difference, and I wasn't trying to give a word power to ruin my day, but then things quickly shifted and after they found that the "n" word didn't bother me, and I guess they started feeling comfortable around me, so much so that they let their true colors show, and they would say things, even make jokes and remarks that just did not sit well with me at all and was just NOT okay and just downright offensive. Now, not every white person is the same, but the ones I've befriended and encountered do have an underlying racism about them that just saddens me and I just couldn't deal with it anymore. My family has the same racist issues when it comes to white people, and I just feel like I'm surrounded by it all the time, but at the end of the day I can only deal with one, so I cut my friends off, started hanging out with a more mixed crowd and like minded people, and kept it moving.

I love this African vibe, it's amazing.

Had to re-watch after 4 years and enjoyed every minute! I hope everyone mentioned in the video actually saw it cuz they needed to.

please know that all white people are not ignorant and rude like them! I'm kinda prejudiced against white people I think, and I'm white. I took a subconscious psychology test for racism (the way it worked was so interesting) and my results were "slight preference towards black people" LOL. it makes sense tho. I try to think of all people in the same manner, but white privilege poisons some white folks. it's sad

I agree completely! Racism/classism/sexism/homophobia all stem from a sort of all-purpose entitlement, which is a huge issue in American culture. This is why people get raped, beaten, shunned, etc for being "different" (or at least different to the majority at the time) and it needs to be squashed. I try to set an example and speak up when I see it.

I can ABSOLUTELY agree with you. On numerous occassions ppl I've been with out in public have said "out of the way things" & i was feeling odd. On one occassion I was in Atlanta & a relative said that we staying in the projects while on vacation, which we was in a nice area. On another occassion someone I know made a comment around we stay "In the ghetto". Or both occassion I was HIGHLY PISSED and didnt "clock the tea". . . i dont blame ya u a grown ass man hell
