"A workout is a session of physical exercise or training designed to improve fitness, health, or performance. Workouts can vary greatly in terms of intensity, duration, and type, depending on an individual's goals, preferences, and fitness level."

Great words of advice! training vs working out can be easily confused with one another. When i first started off in the gym I worked out using an upper lower split, now that I have peaked from that program I'm moving towards more goal specific training and I've been feeling fantastic. I need to work on the diet over all but I'm healthier now in my life than ever before!

I’m glad to hear that brother. Yeah many people don’t make the transition so their results hit a bottle neck. I’m glad you were able to find your way. I actually have an entire nutrition series that is going up be sure to check that out. It will be very helpful.

No you don't have to do isolation training specifically. Compounds are more fun, and you get more bang for your buck

Not true at all friend. That is why bodybuilders don’t train like powerlifters. Because the yield from compound movements are strength focused not muscle building focused. That is not to say it won’t help, buts it is not ideal at all.

@@GinoCiavone Exactly I do some isolation and compounds (just calisthenics), my question is how do you isolate specifically the lats if you wanna really isolate them? And also, compound are a great fundamentals like you said and isolation comes to serious bodybuilding
@GinoCiavone
@GinoCiavone 26 дней назад
@@JoseRivera-rl3qv hey brother. When it comes to isolating your lats you are going to want to do an overhead pulling motion. Particularly on a slight angle (think lat pull down). I prefer to do independent handles instead of the bar for many reasons. One being shoulder asymmetry. Meaning one arm is longer than the other (common in most people). Which will make it uneven when you pull and you’ll get a lot of tension in the forearms. I can make a whole video on this.

@@GinoCiavonedo you ever actually get stronger without gaining muscle though?
@GinoCiavone
@GinoCiavone 25 дней назад
@@kevdawg55 all the time. That’s why if you look at powerlifters they aren’t as muscular as bodybuilders. I’ve have many clients and personal friends that were 150lbs but could bench 300lbs. They still worse a size small t-shirt and didn’t look like they lift. Strength has a lot to do with the surface area of bones in joints. The bigger the joint the more load it can tolerate. So you can be small with big bones and be strong.
