our lovely cane corso is a sweatheart in the day time, however she starts to rip everything appart the moment it comes to her waking up to a night of sleep. if we wake up around the same time we can catch the behaviour in the act and prevent it. but more often than not she wakes up quiatly and just start ripping any tipe of fabric appart. (used to have a dog mattrass for her now we just trough in some old cloth towels in there and replace the ripped up once. however i have been looking for a way to teech her not to do so. she is 7 months old.

I kept my Corso on a house leash until she earned my trust. My girl was connected to my hip from 9 weeks until she turned 1 year. I corrected any unwanted behavior right there on the spot. My girl is almost. 3 and you'll think she was trained by a professional trainer. She's still attached to my hip, and I no longer keep her on the leash. All it takes is time and patience with your pup. Build a bond with your dog, and they will listen and try their best to always please us. Just build a positive bond, and everything is a piece of cake.

Hey! I've got slightly different problem with one of my dogs. I've got 4 dogs and have to take them out one by one so I can do some training with them. Anubis - 10 months old Corso - gets very frustrated if I take other dog out and leave him at home or in the garden. He always looks for something to destroy. Carpet, shoes, doorframe, plastic waste pipes, anything he can get hold of. But if I take him out as the first one, he's fine. That's his way of saying I have to go first!

That's a great question b/c I have 3 dogs as well and will need to do individual training once we get our Corso ... Will & Joe?

I have multiple dogs also. We exercise together in the morning to burn off energy.. Then I take my corso out first for her one on one time. She requires more mental stimulation than my other dogs. Don't know if that helps but it works for me.

One on one my dogs are pretty obedient. Not 100% yet but we will get there very soon. Everything changes when I take them out all together. They become wild. They never run away but controlling them becomes a big challenge. Any suggestions how to deal with it?

@@kodamoose5905 I was hoping the same as you, I thought if I got a new puppy then my other cane corso would want to join in on going on walks with us but nope he’s still the same he’s so comfortable with being in doors all the time, don’t get me wrong he does go outside a lot and gets the exercise he needs but he doesn’t go on walks, I’ve tried everything I can to make him not scared of his leash and stuff but nothings working, I hope everything goes well for you.

@@chelseadean2024 if they are happy just being inside for the most part then that’s ok too. I’m fine with ours being a couch potato lol. Big problem comes when we have to take her to the vet…she’s getting way to big to lift into the car! She’s not a fan!
