Those drawers look like what we used to have at the local BCC library as a kid. It'll have all the books in alphabetical order listed and where they were on the shelves. Cheers Graham

Two comments. First, we all knew that Christine didn’t give you that shiner. In addition to being too kind, she is right handed. Second, I have a set of those 3-tiered file drawers. They are one of several that my brother obtained when the library at the university where he worked changed from card catalogs to electronic records. I was tickled to see that the former owner modified those as I did mine. I removed the brass rods and added 1/8-in (3 mm) thick plywood to the bottoms to keep the stuff from falling out. I use them in my shed for storing wrenches and socket sets, various other items, and PPE. Of course, I saved the brass rods as they may come in handy some day.

Still made and used for forklifts and bobcat type machines. In US the filters are selling for 6.89 to 15.00 depending on store or amazon

I recently dusted off my old Windows 98 PC to show my kids some of the old DOS games. Had to replace a capacitor on the motherboard, but it runs great! Keen to see what vintage computers you uncover!

@@TheUltimateRecycler years ago my son played tennis. You hit a wild back hand and hit the tennis coach in the nose. Blood everywhere. I tried to give the coach first aid but he wanted an ambulance. I just stood back and waited. The two ambos laugh at him. He drove himself to hospital and they didn't see him ever and told him, that he b fine. End up putting complaints against everybody, but got nowhere.

@@TheUltimateRecycler lol. The coach had a superstar playing on the next court and instead of watching my son. He was yelling at the other kid. A lot of kids and parents didn't like he doing it. But he'd always justify it. The superstar now is the carpenter doesn't play tennis anymore.

It was SPRING & Chris had a GLOBE moment & SORTED in a real CLIP. SASH (who wore new DRAWERS) came in (the door was aJAR) & LATCHED onto Chris. SASH asked, "Can you handle ALIGATOR & VITE?" Chris was well HINGED & could HANDLE them. Chris said, "You're an actor VITE!". "EYE", said VITE. SASH began to dance but it was more of a PLASTIC WRAP. (I know; it's pretty crook but it's the best I can do early morning!)

That's quite a shiner Chris, dangerous sport ping-pong obviously, glad to hear that it looks worse than it feels, so don't waste a steak on it ! Those filing drawers look great and they'll certainly be handy, but I wonder what you could get for them, some of those "Apothecary cabinets" go for big bucks these days and the look is quite similar ! Many Happy Returns to Christine - I'm not far behind you both in years !

Were you guys playing with a golf ball?? I found some older oil filters with surface rust that fit my truck. I used them years ago to no ill effect but no one has ever accused me of being in my right mind either!

TT balls may be light, but they travel at great speed!! 😱 Yeah, I guess if they were hard to get filters, one may consider using them with some light rusting. Haha, what's a 'right mind' anyway? 😂
