Our company just acquired SSA along with the new Civil3D. This is the video I have been searching for to figure out whether or not I should take the time to learn it. Thank you.

Hi Paul. Thanks for sharing your tutorial. I have one question. In the “Time series” I put for the fist time (1) “Rainfall Deep” 50 mm in “Unit intensity” San DIEGO 24-hr and the second time (2) “Rainfall Deep” 50 mm in “Unit intensity” Florida DOT 24-hr. "Rainfall Deep" are the same, "Physical Properties" for Subbasin are the same, but in the "Time Series Plot", Total Inflow Volume (m3) is not the same for different cases. In the "Project Options", I chose the EPA SEMM Hydrology method, SCS Curve Number and Constant flow. Why “Total Inflow Volume (m3)” is not the same for different cases (1) and (2) in the same “Rainfall Deep” in Subbasin? Thanks

Florida and San Diego have different storm shapes, so will have different peaks. Checkout this video on scs calcs: m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2XzZzvuBqkI.html

Hi Paul, I am one of your fan and learn a lot from your videos. I am facing a trouble in SSA and hoping to get a little help from you. I have a EPA SWMM model and I want to import it in SSA for further improvement. But by doing that the inverts are offset exactly the inverts number of the pipe. For example if a pipe has inlet invert is 350m and outlet invert is 351m, after importing the network in SSA these inverts are just going up double (imported inlet invert = 350+350= 700m and outlet invert = 351+351=702m), which in not right! Would you know what am I doing wrong here? I appreciate your time and help.

How can I import user defined sections automatically? For example I can pass sections of a river in Hecras.

Hi Jhonath! I'm not sure there is an easy way. You can import data under the "user-defined" option on an open channel for a conveyance link. Not very efficient, but that's all I know of.

Hi Paul, my model is running successfully but my HGL doesn’t seem to be correct do you think you might know what is triggering this issue? I have a storage node and my HGL slopes down toward the top of the my pipes for some reason when it should go higher.
