It's onion season again in my province.
Farmers here are harvesting what they sowed last year in their gardens.
Today, I harvested onion and ginger to cook Filipino dishes called 'dinakdakan' and 'paksiw na bangus' for dinner. I filmed it for you to watch and share with you the experience.

Anyway, the traditional dinakdakan of the Ilocano people uses pig's ears, pig's face and pig's brain. What I made here is more like the modern kind where I used pork and mayonnaise. I hope you like it!

Kapag may lupang sinasaka hindi tlga magugutom. Sarap tlga manirahan sa probinsya lalo kung may lupa ka na taniman. Kahit maliit lng. Ganda ng buhay an fyan na lahat river, bilihin mo isda. Manok pwede magalaga

It's so nice to see Filipino lifestyle vloggers giving way for eachother as RU-vidrs. Honestly, I am just an ordinary fan among two talented country lifestyle gentlemen-vloggers. We also have the boiled fish the same way but only add fermented bamboo shoots in place of vinegar. Definitely trying it out. Love from Assam India ❤❤❤

hi Ading, next time po you harvest Choy sum Asian flowering brassica greens, do the cut -and-come technique. just cut the top part & leave the lowest stalks, roots to allow each plant to have new leaf sprouts. you will get 2-3 harvest from each plant. you take care always. silent viewer, I have been watching from South Texas, USA, we have an organic Asian - American vegetable, fruit trees in our backyard..limited spaces but we were able to make it work. God bless you, all your loved ones and all our fellow PInoys all over the world. May God always gran us His mercy, blessings & protection.
