alpha 2 had some of the best music..can never forget the epic remix to ryu..the jazzy version to ken's track...the upbeat flava of sakura's...all great classic songs. these were the days.....
Awww man the memories. Me and my brother used to go visit my dad on weekends back in the late 90's and we would go to the mall and I would always go to the arcade and play Alpha 2, I wasnt very good back then, but I would manage to get to the 4th or 5th person and It would almost alway, without fail, be freaking Chun li, and for whatever reason I never could beat her. One day I eventually did and even tho I got destroyed by the next opponent I walked out of there with a smile on my face, head held high, and a sense of accomplishment, ahh. Those were the days....seems so long ago now.
This is by far the best remix chun li has ever had. It captures so much energy and soul it's redonkulous. I first heard this version in Super Puzzle Fighter, and I was blown away. I hated beating chun-li in that game because this remix is so amazing. I think the only alpha song that's better than this is Sakura's
I kid you not but I remember I was listening to this 80s r&b and disco mashup on a local station and there is this disco song that sound EXACTLY LIKE THIS in the line up, it was just a little bit slower. i heard it back in 2004. I'm still searching for that song to this very day lol.
Ha...I thought I was the only one :] Capcom does make some memorable soundtracks..... Now,I don't bust out the Saturn...I just pop SFA Anthology on the PS3 and I'm set.....
This speed is the speed of the Puzzle Fighter version. That means, the one used in Puzzle Fighter is a remix of the version used in Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold.
Well,The Saturn version was my first,so of course,it holds a special place in my heart. I never regret choosing the Saturn as my SNES successor...SFA 2 sealed the deal.
Musa Khan The thing is Evil Ryu wasn’t available on the original SFA2 for PS1. I was obsessed with the character on it’s hey-day(Loved that Ryu had a Shoryu super combo) and that Saturn provided that fix.
I finally realized where this remix sounded familiar? It's sounds like the Yellow Magic Orchestra Firecracker. I've been losing my mind trying to find it's influence.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OkkFST5qrLg.html
