There's alot of misfits in these rivalries Ibuki, Rolento vs Yoshimitsu, Raven would be a better fit since there's a battle between ninjas Hugo, Zangief vs King, Marduk cuz grapplers. Dudley, Yuri vs Steve, Hwoarang because they're essentially both boxer and taekwondo fighter Guile, Guy vs Paul, Law because their appearances are so similar

I actually like how some characters speak English by default and some Japanese, yet they're still able to communicate. It's a bit jarring, but I wish more games did this actually, letting you chose which characters speak which language. Or like Hyperdimension Neptunia where you can chose to mute a character's voice completely. It's jarring at times like I said, but also oddly charming.

I think alot of times it works, especially for the Tekken characters seeing as everyone in that series either is, lives in, or works with lots of Japanese people or English speaking people. Makes sense they'd at least understand the other language

Happy 10th anniversary to one of my top 5 favorite fighting games. I remember being so in love with Street Fighter X Tekken and one of the reasons why I purchase a PS Vita back in 2013. Sure the mechanics and dlc controversy ruined the game but in the end I still had a blast

The trailers of this game were amazing but the game didn't get the success they expected. They should made a better story and a less complicated fighting system. For example Akuma in tekken 7 is the prove that they didn't need to create a new system to mix these characters. Also this rival cutscenes demostrate there's no logic in the history, the only scene to have logic is Bison vs Heihachi.

Base Heihachi challenged Base Akuma in Tekken 7. Bison would get destroyed no matter what. Not even his SFV prime form with the Black Moons would be enough.

10:18 I'm starting to question why they didn't add *Dragunov* in this game as Raven's tag-partner. Pretty sure their tag-team quotes (& rival scenes) would've been better than Raven with Yoshimitsu.

For this game i was really hoping that each of the team setups had a unique rival, like how its different for M.Bison/Juri and Jin/Xiao, it would of been very fun in my opinion
