No joke, just that shot of Jin against the window with the cracks forming wings along with perfect timing on the music made me start playing Devil Jin in Tekken 7.

That was always his canon intention as we see in Tekken 8...he stayed away so she would not be put in danger and because he believed he did not deserve happiness
I follow your channel and really admire your work but this is where I have to differ with u. I think this game is the best fighting game ever and I'm saying this after playing every street fighter, capcom vs, mortal kombat, king of fighters and recent iterations of tekken, soulcalibur, samurai shodown. I'll request u to give this game another try.
Looking back, I find it fascination that this is the first time where Jin's transformation into his Devil form weren't triggered by him feeling personally threatened, but because Xiaoyu were in danger. This becomes rather prophetic in hindsight, as T8 reveals that Jin's Devil form responds to Jin's desires and can be channeled for righteous reasons if he lets go of his fear, hatred and self-loathing.
These cinematic trailers were the best,this era of gaming was the best...devs still cared about their fans.Such nostalgia...always find myself coming back to these from time to time and this will never change,some years from now I'll be back here again.
It's really unfortunate that Capcom had all this potential for a storyline between the two sides, and instead... eh, screw it, fight to the death ya'll. It's clear they were thinking about it from this trailer and then just dropped it.
Would have been cool to see the Power of Nothingness tapped into, even if just a tiny bit. I feel like if these universes ever collided, Ryu would teach Jin a different path. Then he could become OP in a different way -- maybe taking after his mother in some form.
@@moose7145 I don't think Jin would ever take that path, at least not where he is currently in the story. Though he certainly doesn't like his Devil Gene, he also isn't the purest of heart. Jin doesn't want power but he certainly doesn't want peace either, so I believe, until after the events of Tekken 8 at least, he wouldn't really be 'fit' for the Power of Nothingness

So I am here after beating the Tekken 8 story and.. hoo boy. Jin would already teach Juri & Bison fear back then. Now they'd turn to dust from his concentrated badassery.
Yeah the part that gives me that is Devil Jin shattering the window and growing his wings and saying "I'll teach you fear!" God man, I wish this game didn't have that scummy gem system or Capcom selling you paid content *that's actually on the damn disc!*
it has several animated movies, but I'm not really certain if there's enough story to make it into an animated series. There's lots of plot holes in the lore IMO.
The retreating body language from Bison and Juri as Jin is transforming tells you the whole story. They think they're the bad guys? No no no, they'll see what a true bad guy looks like. 😈

I love both Tekken and Street fighter, since I grew up playing both of those games, but if I had to choose, I'd have to say I like Streetfighter, mainly due to the characters and nostalgia, like the first time I played the Street Fighter EX series, I remembering thinking "This is the best graphics I've seen and a breath of fresh air from the Street Fighter II series, which was in 2D cartoon form."
This trailer was definitely the best thing the game had to offer and im not even kidding, man whoever was incharge of this trailer did know his shit well.
Oh and one more thing .... To Juri: You shouldn't have kicked Xiaoyu from the door.. now look what you have done.. you made Jin turn into a DEVIL Jin XD

AMOS Afamasaga A fully powered Shin Bison may be able to hang. Like the Street Fighter Alpha 3 Bison, or the Omega version of Bison. But M. Bison vs Devil Jin, M. Bison better teleport the hell out of there. He hit him with the psycho crusher and Jin smiled like he was about to eat a New York steak.
I really miss this era 😢 Honestly the cinematics, the music, such nostalgia. I personally prefer street fighters combat, so I loved this game. Only downside for me was the light, medium, heavy, Tag combo move for every character seemed really clunky, I recon the game could have just left that out. Also I believe all fighting game should maybe have a like soul caliber story/ Legacy type mode.
*In my opinion* This would probably be (MY) the best trailer out of all SFxT Cinematic Trailers. I think number 3 was the funniest since it was inside Marshall's restaurant.
Imagine when Devil Jin said "I teach you fear" to Akuma instead of M. Bison in this trailer and Akuma smiles back too and say "I'll show you the meaning of pain"
Akuma is fcking trash, the character is so two dimensional and on a scale of 1-10 how unrealistic he is, I'd say 10. Jin on the other hand, is unrealistic on a 4/10 level as far as fake game shit goes.
Jin always holds back in all his fights so as not to awaken the diabolical gem and be like his father, as you can see at this minute 1:52 he does not want to let out that energy that is inside him.😢 They have us with that problem until Tekken 7 and I hope I mastered that energy in Tekken 8
Well... no. Some characters are just better than others, Capcom has never been good at balancing their games. Namco is a little better at balancing and most of their characters are fairly even, but they still have some which just aren't as good as the rest.

@@hyped-up-charlie if you think Siegfried and Nightmare are OP you might just suck at Soul Calibur. And the Mishimas weren't OP either, if you knew anything about Tekken you'd have used Steve or Bob or Leroy as examples of busted characters but even at its worst Tekken is still better balanced than classic Capcom games.
