Maybe Procharger already fine-tuned the 140mm. to compensate for the 25-pound advantage of the screw blowers, and the 98% should be 92%. I know some racers have new 140mm, and also the NPK tech is inspecting them all in the events to make sure they are 140mm impeller.
I think it was because of parts he was using kye blower and he didn’t have a back up so I think that’s was the reason or the gray car might be more consistent than the fireball
Need to bring it out early so know it works, allows him to figure out the bugs which it probably will have. All cars run better with good air, especially turbo cars. More dense air the better. There is no way they can have a full field, to many have left that make up 5-8 cars that would normally be on tour, and the usual 4 to 6 will do the winning, some cars don't stand a chance, so that is where the guessing comes it to make up for the difference
This makes me incorrect when I said that the Grey car was only coming out if they took overdrive out or add weight to the screw blowers or if Ryan put a screw blower in the Grey car but I was wrong unless they added weight or took overdrive out.
I dont know why they made the rules if you have a before 1979 body style car then you get 25pounds off. The chassis isnt from that time so it shouldnt get a 25pound wieght reduction. Pretty much ryan will need to be really fast on the tree and have the perfect tune to win when he racers a these cars. One of the dumbest rules, so many 68, 69 camaros, nova and chevy II nova's, everyone is going to biuld one just for the 25pound wieght reduction
