I love your Strider collection. I picked up a used Strider/Buck 889 Tarani with g10 handles at a gunshow a while back but it's making me want a real Strider folder even more now. I hope to find a PT on the secondary market someday. Great upload!

My collection would make a real short video, but I love my one and only newer model SMF. Mine is a tanto. I see they’ve changed the grind a lot. Mine is at a much slacker angle, whereas yours is so much steeper. I would have preferred a grind like yours. Less pointy.
Dang man. I had a lego sng in black g10, flamed ti, stonewashed 154cm, and sold it a couple years back. Really kicking myself lately for letting that go! It looks like striders may not be produced any longer, so my hopes of a brand new one are out, and I presume they will become hard to find pretty quick! Edit* just watched your video from a few months back, I’m guilty of believing what I read! Glad to hear it isn’t true, my hope of another sng in my future is back on! Chears
Eric Mack well some people actually buy these regardless of scratches because they are tools first. Collecting these and not using them makes about as much sense as collecting Snap-On tools and boxes and just letting them sit there.
Hey whats up. Love ur videos. I just got a new MEFP sng tanto. It still not broken in and has some lock stick. What do u recommend i do to get rid of the lockstick??
Thanks, man. I’d use some graphite from a pencil or sharpie on the tang of the blade. You’ll have to reapply for a bit, but it will settle in and the stick will go away 👊🙏
That's quite the awesome collection man. Where do you tend to get your Strider knives from btw? I've only been in the knife community for a little over a year so I'm not sure where to search for the harder to find knives like Striders and Hinderers, especially because they're always sold out

The best way to buy one now is to follow Strider Custom Knives, Strider Knives Josh, and Marissa Strider on Instagram. They usually announce when a drop is happening. There is also a Strider Facebook group where you can find used ones for sale and they also will comment when they spot some knives listed at a retailer. 👊🙏
I would follow the Strider IG page and associated pages. They tell you when the drops are coming. I’d also sign up for the FB group. It can be a rough bunch, but there’s an entire sales thread there.

They haven’t done as many announcements lately, but they used to regularly announce via their stories when they were releasing knives to the site.
Vinny Nero BF is definitely a different group of people. Great place for traditional knife knowledge and buying traditional knives (you usually pay max price, but you see knives that don’t pop up often), but I try not to spend too much time over there. Registration for USN shouldn’t be too hard. I had a buddy sign up a few months back. It took him a few minutes to sign up and then a day or so to be approved.
