Just wanted to share something Gobul mentions that helped me. Apparently you don’t need to hold the wide sweep charge all the way, but only moment you see yourself go yellow. It could save a little time, but I’m just sharing
Ah, someone else that recognizes the power of leaping thrust. I do a somewhat similar set but I go full Embolden with Diversion and slot in as much Defiance as I can. I chose the Flaming Espinas Lance for now and do a combo of Evade Lance with Instablock. I've got Guard 5, Evade Window 5, and +40 defense while Embolden is active which will cause the Agitator and Defiance to proc faster as well, combine Status Trigger 2 via Golden Lunehelm with Bladescale Hone and I almost don't need to sharpen and can keep Poison uptime near 100%. Just need the Haze decos to finish my set and then I'll really be Status Lancing.
Yes hybrid evade and counter is the way to go! My status build uses risen Cham pants and lucent narga gloves to get 5 evade window instead of embolden. It’s a bit difficult to proc buffs with that set in multiplayer, and the defence is not as ridiculous as yours so I tend to use this set in anomalies for comfort. Your set sounds super comfy and fun! :) I will have to try out myself
This is very outdated. My recommendation for the risen monsters is to take defensive skills. carting out is a high risk. Guard, embolden, guard up, defence up, and dragon resist. If you are really having trouble I would give up all the offensive gems for these skills. Timing out isn’t a huge risk.
