I’m so sorry, mommy😢 I know that this can be such a stressful time. You are very normal to be dealing with postpartum depression. There are so many emotions attached this time in our lives. Be sure to reach out to friends and family for support and talk to your doctor about it too. If this all seems too overwhelming, you can partially breastfeed or go to exclusively formula feeding. Baby loves you no matter what you do to feed them. Latching can be very hard in the first few weeks. Many moms feel like it will never get better, but really it does. ❤️

My baby has had a bit of a shallow latch, I’ve only been able to feed her decently with a nipple shield? Any advice?

It’s usually just a problem with baby’s position. You might try laying back to nurse baby or sitting in an upright position. It can be because baby has a tongue or lip tie or if mom has a forceful letdown/over supply. How old is baby? How is baby acting when nurse seen without the nipple shield? Is it painful for you? Is baby not attached well? A nipple shield should only be used for a few days and then weaned off. It can be hard to get baby to latch without one once you’ve started. It can also cause clogged ducts, low milk, supply, or thrush.

Can you pls guide how to have a good latch when the areola is big.. my baby is unable to latch properly

Hi Mommy! How old is baby? It’s ok to not have all of your areola in baby’s mouth if your areola is really large. There should be more of the areola in baby’s mouth on the side where baby’s nose is. To help baby get more breast in, you can “sandwich” your breast. Some moms with large breasts been to always hold their breast in a sandwich while baby nurses. Are you having any pain while baby is latched. Are you able to mostly feed from the breast?

She is 4.5 month old. No pain while feeding but sometimes due to engorgement, it's difficult to sandwitch hold.

Since 2 months ,she is in EBF but her weight has not gained much. Birth weight: 2.8 Kilograms and now at 4.5 age 5.1 KGs Would you suggest what can be done from my side like which food can I include in my diet so that baby can get benefited ? I tried giving formula milk she rejected that.. I haven't introduced solids yet.

@@asaktimishra if you are still getting very engorged at this point, I’m wondering if you might have a forceful letdown/oversupply. Have you heard of this before? The foods that you eat, won’t affect the nutrients in your milk or baby’s weight gain. If you do have a forceful letdown/oversupply that isn’t under control, that can cause baby to be a slow gainer. Does baby have lots of gas? Green or foamy poop?

Hallo, i have problem with latching while breastfeeding. Thats why i pump exclusively and moreover also gives formula to my baby. I want to switch to exclusive breastfeeding and also not want to do pumping anymore but want my baby on breast exclusively Problem is when i put my baby down for breastfeeding she starts crying Can you help me with this?

Give me lots of details mommy❤️ How old is baby? Did baby latch in the beginning? How much milk are you able to pump at a session and how much every 24 hours?

@@marycahillclc my baby is now 4 and half month old. .yeah in beginning until 2 months she used to latch. But most of the time she was little uncomfortable and fussy during latch and mostly she finished session very fast due to my low milk supply. So i have to give her extra milk (baby formula) . Then after i decided to pump and feed her by bottle. Second reason is for pumping is to boost my milk supply. But drawback of this decision is now she refuses breast and only prefer bottle I pump 5-6 times in 24 hours. And most of time it is between 50 to 80 ml. Only In pumping session in early morning it is arround 100-120ml ( in night i skip to pump..I pump before sleep and then directly in early morning).

Try to offer the breast at every feeding but stop as soon as baby starts to fuss. Baby needs to get used to the breast without stress.
