IMO, this movie's structure and strategically placed exposition makes it completely unnecessary for the viewer to have seen other multiverse movies to follow it. BTW, I will likely buy this in 4K in some form too. However, I suspect it will not have as much of an impact as with some other movies for video quality. I first saw EEAaO in a decent mainstream theatre and then saw it in one of the top IMAX theatres in Canada. There was at best a small incremental improvement in image quality, nothing like the improvement I saw with other movies like The Dark Knight. That said, I also saw it at a cheaper local theatre (yes, 3X at the theatre!) and the image quality was terrible. Shadow detail was completely washed out. Conclusion: See EEAaO at the best theatre you can, but don't worry too much if it's not a flagship IMAX theatre.
I definitely agree with the structure! I feel like we spend a bit too long in "everything" which makes "everywhere" rushed and a bit of a slog but the action very much makes up for it ☺️ Thank you for watching!
This is indeed an amazing film. Michelle Yeoh comes from the north of my country, Malaysia. She portrayed the characteristics of a Malaysian Chinese auntie, which is different from the usual busy women in Chinatowns all over America. And i would like to make a suggestion for you, put the camera a bit further... Your face is pretty enough, yet it would be more aesthetic if we could see the bigger picture (with more background). ☺️
I love this movie and your comments are spot on. Yes, the bagel and raccoon hehehe. However my favourite are the 2 rocks, they made me laugh and cry at the same time! 💕💕
