This was the opening song for the digital concert Dimash did for us dears during the pandemic. People from all over the world watched it at the same time. Ninety mins, four new songs as well as favourites, new arrangements, costumes, graphics, dance routines etc. we paid $10 or $20 for tickets and lots went to charity.

Another enjoyable reaction by you! I'll tell you a few things about this performance. This was the opening number of his digital concert which he did during the pandemic so there was no live audience. In the very beginning you see him sitting in front of a TV watching his live performance at his concert in Nur-Sultan. This is also great to watch because there was a huge crowd and it's always fun to hear the audience. There were also dancers involved and over all it's great to watch. This song was written for him by Igor Krutoy to open the European Olympics in Minsk, so the lyrics were written especially for the olympians, but of course applicable to anyone. I'd like to suggest that you do a reaction with your wife. We Dears especially enjoy seeing a reactor introduce someone new to Dimash. Maybe choose a performance that's one of your favorites, or do something new you can enjoy for the first time together. Adagio from the Singer program will knock your socks off!
This song Ogni Pietra (Olimpico) was composed especially for Dimash by Ukrainian/Russian composer Igor Krutoy, showcasing both his incredible range and his powerful, classically trained voice. It premiered at the opening of the 2nd European Games on June 21, 2019 in Minsk, Belarus. More than 3,500 athletes from 50 countries competed in 200 medal events in 15 sports (23 disciplines) and for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics slots, thus the name Olimpico. It is a song of power, resolve and perseverance. It calls us to action, to embrace life with passion and purpose, to triumph over our limitations and give our best, and to share our gifts and talent with the world. The song echoes reaching deep within ourselves in the lower registers to reach heights we never imagined with the high notes.
I love his performances of this in arenas in front of huge crowds - the audiences go wild with the choirs and pyrotechnics or the one with the lights sticks as far as the eye could see !
