Tupac was larger than life. He galvanized millions of people. He catered to our inner child, our inner rebel and our inner artist. A philosopher and a champion. For ten years after he died, i cant remember any other rapper being played as much on anybody's music list. He was the most unreplaceable loss in hip hop history and one of the top ten losses in music history.
A few years ago I went through a period when I didn’t have a car. I would have to walk many miles a day. I would hear PAC playing in so many cars as they passed by. It was crazy. I would literally hear his music on almost every block from passing cars.
" I got love there , I got love from the thugs and the street dudes , and this focuses me back on what I should be doing , and lay out the real mat on the world and how it is " - 2pac
I don’t think PAC ever considered Suge his best friend. I think PAC respected Suge’s power and appreciated him getting him out of prison so that’s where their bond came from‼️‼️ I think so many former Death row artist and producers were jealous and envious of their bond. PAC is probably one of few artist that didn’t get slapped up at some point
I think Suge only "loved" PAC because he took his label to a higher label & made him even more money but Pac was smarter than a lot of ppl realize, he probably was going to leave the label because Suge wasn't just a "business man" he was a dirty business man
@@lamarharvey5960 I was saying the samething. He was chase out marlin county because he was recieving life threats, he alot bad encounters in L.A. and the west coast literally took him away from hip hop culture.... And, notice alot west coast artist be sore and mention how he was a east coast dude that was taking the shine away from us and low key didnt like him because of that. Wish he stayed in New York and/or east coast, Pac aka MC New York will always be a New Yorker, there is a interview of him with angie martinez saying "he's from New york' and "he miss new york"!!
First time I heard i ain't mad at ya, I was a Danny boy fan. I think Pac really valued Danny boy as a friend. And vise versa. Thanks for keeping it real.
@@dominicbrogsdale3348 Danny boy singing that song was maybe one of the last beautiful things Pac heard. I believe he went in peace thanks to Danny boy.
@@chrismaciejewski2568 most definitely it most definitely was Tupac knew his time was coming when he got shot I forgot who spoke to him but he said this is it I can feel it. I've been around people who are about to go and they know they're about to go and heard other stories. So I'm sure Tupac appreciated that before he left this Earth
@@dominicbrogsdale3348 yeah just days before he called napoleon to his room and had his jewelry laid out and told napoleon to pick one, he was hesitant but picked a ring and pac said pick another, and he picked, I believe a bracelet and I am thinking it was the one he wore on the all eyes on me photos. Napoleon said it was odd. I mean I'm older and away from the streets now but I still got all my jewelry, and dont think I can part with it, unless...I felt like I aint gonna be around much longer. Maybe its just me but I know Pac liked his bling. And he had mentioned something to a few people as well. I have sought out everything I could find about Pac for the last 20 years, trying to find I guess flaws in his realness just so I could be sure he was in fact human because honestly no one is really that true to themselves and just genuine but I never did find anything and Its getting harder and harder to find new material. Especially reliable information from those close to him and the more I dug in, the more I became almost obsessed but I knew when I was a kid the first time I heard him that he was something different. I knew he was gonna change the world. In my heart I know without any doubt that had he had more time or even still alive today we would not have the problems that we do today, People are people but if anyone could have steered us away from where we ended up it would have been him.
@@chrismaciejewski2568 Yeah man I seen that interview! and yeah man it seem like he did like his bling and yeah man you never know!!! That poem in the events of my demise he wrote that when he was 17-18 years old! It's like Pac knew he was gonna go early unless he had in his heart that , " I'm help my peoples and I know THEY COMING TO GET ME!!! or one of these negros !!!" Same here bro I look at EVERY interview I can find , read every book i can , listen to scholars etc..etc... same for me as well bro when i first lisented to Pac I was like < " wow this dude is different it just FEELS so genuine , authentic , compassionate , loving , and REAL!!!! " ( maybe its me..) but PAC had a GLOW to him it seem like! Yeah Man most DEF if there is one rapper that cared about the people it was PAC! you can hear it through his music , his actions , the THUG LIFE movement he was really fighting for us and trying and not a hypocrite about it either! HE MEANT it just like he said in unconditional LOVE ... So I proceed to make G's eternally ((((And my mission is to be more than just a rap musician The elevation of today's generation, if I could make 'em listen))) Prison ain't what we need, no longer stuck in greed Time to plan, strategize, my family's gotta eat We work somethin' out of nothin', no pleasure in the sufferin' Neighbourhood would be good if they could cut out all the bustin' The liquor and the weed, the cussin', sendin' love out to my block The struggle never stops, unconditional love He was definitely a special dude we cant deny that !
I saw a comment that said Pac has almost been gone longer than he was living! That is surreal to me that in death this man lived/continues to live another lifetime through the impact he created while he was actually living. I also went to see the “Toss it up” music vid footage after it was mentioned and caught a clip where Pac is messing with Danny Boy to keep his head up cause he looked drunk and sad 😂 Even if Danny wasnt really sad I’m sure those moments with Pac is what stay with him today. People always remember how you treated them!!
facts there I read a quote that said when you pass people remember how you made them FEEL!!!! thats real! but he deserve that love because he was the only rapper who was fighting for us and LOVED us ! he was always speaking up for the people ! last time I saw Pac he was in a drop top royce , two rolex's new york time in one and california in the other , the man was ballin out of control but he never talked about it he used that platform to make people feel good and help people get through the day " - Shock G on 2pac
You can tell that 25 plus years later that a lot of people are still hurting and probably are still crying behind closed doors on Tupac Shakur passing.I hope Danny and the rest of them gain some real mental peace and find a way to continue to enjoy each day over time. #Peace&Love #Respect & #GoodDay
Pac was ahead of his time just some of his songs ain't no where near to what you hear today, keep your head up, Brenda got a baby, dear mama, only God can judge me, Thugz mansion, white manz world, krazy, hail Mary, I wonder why they call you b##ch, changes. Are some of my favourite but I can say ain't no one else can come close to his comparison. Pac see you on the other side god willing. Hit a like if you believe so.
PAC always and will forever be the goat 🐐 that was the biggest loss in music history still listen too his music til this day these other artist could never compare
Pac,I wish you were here to respond to all these things people are saying. The younger generation can only hear other people tell your story. Sad shit.
Youre right. When I come across a younger brother or sister that's listening to PAC. I'll have to educate them that he was just more than a rapper but also a Leader. It still blows my mind when I see someone supporting PAC. Because I know we can kick it and become friends. PAC brings unity to the people. That's how powerful he was.
Tupac sister Sekyiwa said after the fight with Orlando he was up there changing clothes and she asked him “ do you want your vest,” and Pac said “nahh it’s gonna be too hot for that…” man crazy…that could’ve saved him
@@kekemola1475 I heard it out her own mouth in an interview. I think it was one of those documentary like who killed Tupac on A and E, I’ll try to find it and post link
It’s sad Pac died. He was gonna start Makeveli Record, Start his own management company, Was probably gonna marry Quincy Jones daughter, Star in more movie roles and get into writing and producing movies and eventually write an autobiography.
NO OTHER RAPPERS COULD ACHIEVE THE LOVE TUPAC HAD❤❤ OR THE LEGENDARY STATUS HE ACHIEVED. 26 YRS LATER TUPAC IS THE GREATEST LEGEND EVER TUPAC 2022. STILL ROCKING TUPAC TODAY
Tupac was an epitome of Hip Hop. He rapped about social issues. He came from a black nationalist background. Death Row aimed for excellence but too many costly incidents shorted it’s destination.
Suge was always following behind PAC. Wherever PAC went, Suge was right behind him. Just like in the MGM footage, PAC always lead the crowd and Suge was trying his best to keep up 👑
Suge Knight still had beefs with Tupac enemy till this day and that's is the proof he really love tupac more than money and all that B.S you said fanboy
@@dmack143 Suge paid Orlando Anderson $60,000. Plus, Afeni had to sue for unpaid royalties. So knock it off. Marion is out for his own. He only cares about himself.
I agree with Danny boy a 1000 percent. Tupac wasn't alive long enough, to see suge knights Tru colors. Tupac wasn't thinking of living death row at alll
he did see it 😂😂 man yall really dont do any research. Pac fired all Death Row legal associates & was gettin into arguments with Suge bout his money. he just wasnt about to disown Death Row in public while they at war with Bad Boy/East Coast. the next chapter of Pac’s life was gonna be the most interestin. seein him cut ties with Suge & go into the 2000’s with his Euthansia entertainment company 💯
And yea suge gave Pac gifts because he didn’t have to compensate him. Pac technically was still signed to inter scope. Death Row was a subsidiary of inter scope. They knew that when they brought Pac that contract. He was better off in prison and if Pac knew what was going on he wouldn’t never signed I don’t think. Not to mention his time in prison wasn’t his first time being asked to come to death row . Allegedly. Right around the time he filmed poetic justice Pac was asked to come to death row and Pac said no. IF that’s true, that tells me that pac signed cus he was desperate.
So Suge didn’t show his friendship to Danny Boy by taking him in, raising him like a son, putting him in a penthouse, putting money in his pockets, buying him cars, gifting him jewelry, hiring him a personal assistant & paying for around the clock security? With no album on him or track record for making hits? For over three years?!
@@mansagrinders710 that wasn’t his point. He said that being a friend is shown in your actions & not your words. I just laid out three years worth of actions that Suge displayed towards him when Suge didn’t have to. I like Danny Boy, but there was nothing special about him that made him a once in a lifetime talent that deserved the pampering he’d received. Yet, he goes on interviews & buries Suge by saying he doesn’t think he received enough or Suge should’ve continued to spoil him while he was in prison. That comes off as spoiled & entitled. Realistically, Suge could have snatched up any young singer from Compton & made him a star at that point in history.
See everyone keep screaming Suge dirty but nobody saying nothing about the expenses they was running up with no album out or waiting for the album sales. Everybody had houses everybody had clothes jewelry and etc but they haven't made no money 💰 sounds like niggas in the streets
@@theetruth8626 facts! Prior to All Eyez On Me, Danny Boy only did one song for Death Row which was “Come When I Call” from the Murder Was The Case soundtrack & he was living the life of luxury from 1994-1997. He was getting a weekly allowance from Suge on top of the gifts & other expenses Suge was handling for him. So how can he complain when he was living the life of a star with only one song to his name?
It's mind blowing the people who still doubt almost everything Suge says. Whenever Suge says something, the first thing people say is, "I don't believe him". Whether we like the idea of it or not, Suge was Pac's boss, so I'm sure he overruled Pac on a lot of things. Don't mean they weren't still cool. Also, Pac may have not been as close with Suge as he was with someone like Kadafi, but they were still friends.
That’s funny because everytime Pac was in the crowd, Suge was following behind PAC like a puppy dog. Check the MGM footage, that’s only one example outta 10 😂
I know Suge wasnt perfect but damn I still can't understand on why people are talking down on Suge while he's locked up. Where was all this talk when he was "free". The nerve of these people. It's like kicking a man while he's down. It just ain't right and it seems like a coward move. But props to AOD for bringing some content to the table.
U don’t get it he did a lot of artists dirty by not paying them what they deserved that’s why & he bullied a lot of people in the music industry not the jokes on him & he broke spending 28 years in prison for being stupid
It's funny to me how Pac haters find emselves here busy waiting to respond to posts bout Pac..hahahaha. Like it or choke with hate, Pac will still remain the G.O.A.T period!!
There’s no doubt in my mind, Pac had so much love in the West Coast way before he came to Death Row, Pac had real friends around him like Treach, Shock G, Richie Rich, The Outlawz and many more. Pac worse decision was signing to Death Row.
@@olle84 what are u talkin bout, he left New York at 13 and still had love for New York and would say that’s where he’s from and called himself MC New York but New York didn’t love him back so why should he still rep it
Pac didn’t even want to go to Vegas but got pressured by suge! He should’ve went to see his family in Atlanta to take care of issues they were having with his cousin
Tupac would’ve left eventually maybe 98-99. Death row was his mentorship to becoming his own boss he knew the negative that came with the label but tried his best to find the positive. He wanted to learn how to run a label and become lucrative. No matter how spontaneous tupac was he knew what time it was and he tried to work it in his favor
I always wonder how it would be the next year's to come with DMX, Eminem, cash money, the lox and mfs sleep on Shyne po, if pac was still here. Honestly even big
The thing about getting hit in the lung is it takes a lil minute for the lung to start collapsing in my case it took up to 30 mins before I even realized that I was stabbed threw the lung so it is possible that pac was laughing and talking a lung injury is not something you notice immediately
Pac was in fact leaving Deathrow after that 3 album deal; the double CD was considered two albums not one. In 1996, he formed his own production company called “Euthanasia” he was also going to change his stage name to “Makavelli” under the new label. The necklace that he wore in his last photo the night he died in the car with Suge was the new chain and emblem for his new company. That’s why he was recording so much music to fulfill his contract with Deathrow and at the same time introducing and rebranding himself as “Makavelli The Don”. He was NEVER leaving to sign with Quincy Jones.
This person is probably has the most unbiased information I've ever seen. He keeps it raw, regardless if he likes a person or not. You gotta respect that.
I read somewhere that had 2Pac lived or never been shot in Vegas that he was due his first royalty check of 4 million dollars in October. All Eyez On Me at that point had sold 5 million copies which generated approximately 80 million dollars so at that point 2Pac had fully recouped whatever expenses he was in the hole for from when Suge bailed him out. Suffice it to say he most likely wasn't leaving anytime soon once all that money hit his account at one time.
@@squireboi318 You're right. That's the one thing people don't mention. He damn sure violated when he threw that punch. I think he had to serve 4 years so he would've been gone until 99' at the earliest.
Yeah and all that was going to be spent on lawyers because he was going straight back to jail after beating Orlando and Suge would of probably went after him too.
It wasn't anything anybody could have done differently. You have a time to be born and a time to die. 2 PAC time was just up. He touch the world with his music and left a everlasting effect on it. He did what he was suppose to do.
I know MANY niggas that could’ve done things differently, from not starting the altercation that ended their life, to not robbing the person that pulled their own gun and killed them. Lots of dudes WEREN’T killed for reasons beyond their control
Pac gave a hint on Tech and Sway show. He said he wanted to be an A&R at Death Row. He and Suge will be cool and do business with each other but he was explaining his own brand, record label etc. So Pac wanted to definitely do his own thing.
Strange how the common thread in the deaths of Artists, die alone, bodyguards off duty, alcohol and drugs or murdered but the circumstances be always sketchy. Conscious Brother on Watch in 2022
