Imagine a song with so many noticeable outstanding parts to it...the open tuning guitar, the trade off singers plus the ultra rich harmonies and you make a comment about the bass being the bus driver. And being completely correct about it. Well said!

I spent a career as a high school band teacher being able to ferret out which player hit a Bb instead of B natural and which flute is out of tune and I’m stunned at this performance. I’ve listened to it multiple times, and as difficult as it is, they all nailed it. They blew right past being technically accurate and perform the whole thing in a way that makes a person want to listen to it again and again. It’s just plain fun.

Update, from a Rumours of Fleetwood Mac comment section: "You know when a tribute band has hit the target spot on. It is when you play their version more often than the original. Foxes and Fossils manage to do the same with their CS&N covers. You just can not beat good quality live music."

@@stuffyteddybare: You'd be amazed how many thousands of F&F fans would sell off prized possessions if they could go back in time and sit where you did on that night, Francis. How astonishingly lucky you were! No one could have heard of Foxes and Fossils, because they only agreed on the name just before stepping on-stage. If you haven't found them yet, there are about 70 great videos on this channel, including some really wonderful studio recordings from the past few months. More treats and more smiles. Foxes and Fossils is so good they brings me to tears. I have been listening to them for years…and can’t get enough. I hope they realize how much joy they bring to everyone. It’s unfortunate that they are in different states now and it’s difficult for them to get together. Please do more, anything you do will be much appreciated. I can’t thank you enough for all the joy you have brought to me.

This is an exceptionally complex arrangement. And this goosebump-inducing rendition also manages to capture the spirit of the age in which it was written. Like someone else commented about stumbling on this band on RU-vid: "it's like finding a Rembrandt at a yard sale."

This is by far...the best cover band I have ever heard. Listen to every song they do (on you tube) you will find that each one is extremely well done and as good (or better) than the original. (In many cases) The harmony alone blows the doors off most cover bands. I hope you guys get to read this. I mean every word of it.

True. The first song of the first set of the first time the group ever got onstage. Tim (in center, speaking) had a semi-pro band for many years, but only a few weeks before this, got together with his youngest daughter Sammie (checkered dress) and Maggie whom they knew from their church, and put together an experiment featuring the girls that they thought would be a one-time-only event. This was the result. They recorded it for posterity, then found out the mics and instruments could be synced to the video for a professional sound. Twelve of the 20 songs they did that night are here on this channel. But this was what they did for the first number.
