Sukhasana is a simple cross-legged seating posture in Yogasana also known as Easy Pose. Sukhasana has a comfortable and calming effect on the practitioner. Generally, people make mistakes in Sukhasana due to which they feel numbness in their legs or back pain in Sukhasana.
In this video, I will demonstrate the right way to do the Sukhasana pose or Easy Pose for beginners. The proper way to do Sukhasana or Easy Pose will help you to protect your lower back while doing a cross-legged seating posture. Learn how to sit in cross legged or Sukhasana for longer period.
The posture is best suited to practice meditation and pranayama and also to perform exercises for the neck, shoulder and eyes. Sukhasana strengthens the spine and gives a good stretch to the knees and ankles.

Possibly the first channel who teaches with iyengar yoga cues in Hindi. Thank you for making it accessible Sir 👏 However I have one doubt Sir, kya ye necessary nahi hota ki sukhasan mein humari heel bahar na nikli ho kar thigh ke neeche ho?
