Mock up / test fitting a Summit racing Pro Turbo Manifold part number SUM-G9300 on 1972 Monte Carlo. Clearances and results should be similar to other gm a bodies from 1968-1972 like Chevelle, El Camino, etc. It’s a possibility that this many have similar results on G bodies.

Summit and Accel both make ceramic plug wires, get some for this setup, you'll thank yourself.

I like your project. If you find your having too many complications with the fit up for that particular manifold, you might wanna look at one called trick. it’s always good to have options even if you have to sell the ones that you have

I did consider the Trick manifold option, specifically the one with the welded v band flange. Main reason I tired the Summit manifold first was because they are local to me and if the fit was horrible right off the top I could’ve returned it. Now ima see what kinda results I get and share them for anyone who is curious.

What you're forgetting is that motors move in the chassis. Left turn on throttle and that upper control arm is eating the wastegate

I have yet to make a hard turn on the throttle in this car. It’s not built or setup for hugging curves. BUT I have considered plugging the wastegate locations on the turbo manifold and having the wastegate mounted to the turbo housing. Which can address any control arm issues.

Looking good. Did you test fit the top wastegate mount? I hope more people see your videos because this is gold. Not many manifolds fit. Not even the Huron which is made for a truck.

I did test fit the top side wastegate location and the outlet will have to face the rear. I will also get a 4inch to 3.5 reducer from Monkey Fab to gain some clearance from the turbo downpipe. Thanks for recommending them!! I many also go with a SUM-260072 wastegate now vs SUM-270100R that I have now to get extra clearance on height and will also save around $400. But will probably give up quality 🫠

@@Janky214 I watched a few vids on making a eBay wastegate bulletproof. Just some adjustments really and they should hold up
