I was Anglican- my family very staunch and sure they had the right church- one so mighty and honored. But, when I heard Prophecy and the seventh day Sabbath preached, I knew this was Truth, and I was convicted by the Holy Spirit to truly honor God by loving Him enough to keep His Commandments and “Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.” It’s a beautiful communion!😊

You sound like me 15 years ago. Keep strong! But do realize that no Christian is Bound to obey Jewish Laws, you can voluntarily do these things if that is what your conscience decrees, but it is not a salvation issue. In Christ there is freedom from the old law, as Paul so brilliantly pointed out.

Thank you for going over the histroy of sun worship. It seems we are coming to full circle, from sun worship in ancient times to sun worship in our time. It reminds me of Ecclesiastes 1:9 “ The thing that has been, it (is that) which shall be; and that which is done (is) that which shall be done; and (there is) no new (thing) under the sun.” Man without Christ is the same, doing the same thing over and over and over again, generation after generation. Jesus alone is the change-maker. He is the one who makes of us a new creature, a new man or woman, with a new lifestyle and destiny. Praise His Holy name. We can clearly see as you clearly speak and warn us. We are doomed to repeat the sins of the fathers of unbelief and rebellion, even from the first and early entrance of sin. Satan has even lied to us telling us we are all so very different, superficial YES! But my bible says “All have sin and come short of the glory of God”. The real difference is made when we surrender our life to Jesus. He is the only Saviour of all men. END OF STORY!!!

YHWH is the name Jehovah. Jehovah is God's name. Jesus is not Almighty God but the son of the Almighty God. These two and pretty much everyone else here seem to believe that Jesus is God. Would the son of God be portrayed as part of a filthy, pagan trinity ? Think about it. The trinity is from ancient Babylon also Egypt.

@@DovidGershom I say this graciously my friend. There is no such thing as Jewish law in scripture. It’s the laws of God. God has one church of believers and they are of like mind from Adam to today. When Paul talks about freedom, he is not talking about freedom from the law, he is saying those who repent and accept Christ as their savior are free from the condemnation of the law(Rom 8:1). Very important distinction.

@jayt2257 If that was the case, then the First Apostolic Synod (in Acts) which met to discuss whether or not the new Gentile believers (Greeks, Romans, Canaanites) had to observe Jewish laws. The conclusion (after consulting with the Holy Spirit) was this "Gentiles are to refrain from the blood, things strangled and sexual immorality. No other burden we lay upon you" (ACTS) Circumcision was OUT along with the dietary laws. Now for the Sabbath, interestingly the Sabbath didn't come up directly. I am still researching whether the Sabbath was considered to be for "all" or Jews only. The silence in the NT about the Sabbath leads me to believe (for now anyway) that it was thrown out with the old Jewish laws.

i grew up adventist, but it wasn’t until i was graduating high school that a family member showed me the “total onslaught” series and it changed my life. God is speaking through his people TODAY. i pray and pray and pray that i might be able to set an acceptable example for my friends and family and the WHOLE WORLD to see so they might open their hearts and acknowledge the truth; to take on the mark of God and reject the mark of the beast. someday soon, i don’t know how soon but very very near in the future, church and state will come back together and the observance of sabbath on the seventh day versus the first day will be of grave importance.

I too have been trying to study the bible as well as listen to online ministry. I came across Professor Walter Veil years ago. He showed so much detail and information that he didn't say directly but archive material. Which all had references too. I only learnt recently about him being a SDA. I looked in to their bible faith ministry. I have yet to read the old testament as I am nearly finished the new testament for the second time. I told a friend of mine a Christian. She had a conversation with some Christian friends who told me they said SDA are a cult. I d not recognise them as that at all. I am praying for discernment for the truth. God bless.

It's not just praying on the Sabbath keep it Holy (set apart ). God gave us the Sabbath so we might get to know him. Don't buy or sell and do no work. The ones who obey are the ones who love him and he searches the heart.

It was not God that revealed that to you, but a demonic (legalist) spirit. The Lord, through the prophet Jeremiah promised that the old covenant and it's laws would be replaced by a new covenant. The author of Hebrews references that and goes on to say this about the old covenant and its laws, "it is obsolete, growing old, and ready to vanish away." Why in the world would the "Good News" be "Good News" to the Israelites?! It was good news because they were no longer under the burden of the old covenant and its complex laws. Sunday is not the sabbath -- but neither is Saturday. Your rest -- from works of the law, is in Christ Jesus. If you really want to be a jew -- obey Christ's new commandment, "love each other as I have loved you."

The Judaism, Old Covenant, was ended when the sanctuary veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom (Matt 27:51) at the time of Our Lord's death. Yes, I always listen to professor wallters. The first time I watched him and I heard him. I picked up my bible to see if it's correct what he explained, it was spot on.

I want to correct this to the world that this is the new law that Jesus wrote. Let me bring the pictures closer about this new laws. The old law says, when you killed someone you commit sin. The new laws that Jesus wrote said, once you makes plans before you act, your sin. The same as adultery, the old laws said, when you commit is sin. The new laws says, once you look at the girl and you in love, you're sin. Is that makes sense to you? This the new laws I was asking God about it, and he showed it to me when I was working one day. Our Lord and the Holy Spirit are always with the True Magisterium of the Church and guide its actions. As you know, the Church started her work of redemption in Jerusalem as written in Acts Chap 2. But St. Peter moved the Seat of the Church to Rome under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13). Why God guided him to move the Seat? Because God was going to destroy (in AD 70) the Temple and Jewish Nation, and scatter Jewish people, making them restless wanderers on earth for their rejection of the promised Messiah and Deicide, Divine punishments similar to that on Cain (Gen 4:12). St. Peter simply obeyed God's will. This dispute on Lord Day is not from God. It is from Satan who wants to create confusion and division among the believers. We should trust God and faithfully follow the centuries old teachings of the Catholic Church.

I'm also reformed (Presbyterian) and I struggle with this. I admit that I am slightly uncomfortable going to church on Sunday. I am aware that man has changed a commandment, but I just hope that Christ sees the adoration and love on display.

Sabbath in Colossians 2:16 is in Leviticus 23: 32-37&38 sabbath for 10 commandments was set apart.

When you were a child and your parents told you to brush your teeth, did you do it because they told you to do it or because there's an actual design law that shows that if you do not do it they will decay naturally. Exodus 32:5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it, and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord. That's the 1611 version. It says nothing about God's name being put on the idol.

@earlysda What is "the feast of the Lord" ... or as other translations state "the Lords day" ? That is Shabbat, the seventh day that YHVH hallowed. The idol was "sanctified" or blessed/ worship as a representation of YHVH. Yes, they did in fact put His name on it. You just don't recognize the significance of what was done. Just as most Christians don't understand the significance of what they do re: Christmas or Easter. My point is valid and stands.

If you're in southern California, we have a small home Church of 4 to 5 people and meet every sabbath. Anyone is welcome, and we encourage the difficult questions so we can all grow together.

Maybe by bringing the true Sabbath to the pastors attention they might change from Sunday to Saturday. I've never understood why the protestant churches celebrate the Sabbath on Sunday. They know the catholic Church changed it, then why follow a false teaching? By following and obeying, they are also giving power and authority to the ones they obey! God's seal and covenant with his people is the Sabbath, which is Saturday. Difficult situation though. I wish you strength! 🙏

@@jap3270 you're right. Essentially it's cherry picking verses that suit their agenda. By thoroughly examining everything written in scripture about a particular topic, you get a better understanding. One verse can be taken out of context or misinterpreted. This is where pride and ego's come into play. It's easier to belong and fit in with the world than follow God's laws and Yeshua's teachings. If you look through scripture to find excuses, you'll probably find them, however learning, understanding and following God's word is entirely different! In the 1st situation people are putting themselves first. The 2nd they are putting God first and learning what He has to say and why. It's the same with prophecy. Sure lot's of individual things look like they fit, but if one small point doesn't, then the entire theory is wrong. 100% has to fit exactly and withstand criticism from all angles to prove the prophecy fulfilled.

The fact is, anyone worshipping an any day is not a Christian. There is no weekly sabbath. No actual Christian keeps a weekly sabbath. You are steeped in deception. Repent!

I can’t really say ik where you’re coming from but you can worship any day. Besides, the law of Moses was given because the Israelites were not in dwelled by the Holy Spirit.

There is only one day that God honored, hallowed and used as a sign for His people, the Seventh day of the week. Never in the bible can we find a hint that God honored the first day of the week or commanded us to make it holy as the seventh.

We have no community Adventist church...so we watch AD on Sabbath on FTA tv...Unless we could be a positive influence in planting seed for the true Sabbath...I think it might be dangerous to go to Sun day keeping churches. I know of Adventist preachers that did that...and ended up in apostasy. Agree. Yes Jesus kept all the Law of His Father for us who cannot fully obey it. But that does not give us permission to intentionally transgress it as other Christians thought. God's Law is absolute unchanging as He is unchanging.

Constantine changed the whole calendar. He changed the Roman Julian and Hebrew lunar calendar to the reformed Julian. The old Julian calendar calendar had 8 days in it’s week. The Roman army used the Mithra Babylonian 7 day week calendar. The Babylonian and Hebrews used 7 days in their week, but started the New Moons at a different time.

There have always been 7 days in a week from Creation. God always had a people ( remnant) carry the torch of truth thru the centuries. Jesus knew what day the Sabbath was and kept it. The Apostles followed and taught the early churches in Asia Minor the true Sabbath day. Rome knows that God's 7th day Sabbath is Saturday and claims that Protestants are following her doctrines and not God's from His Word by keeping Sunday, the first day of the week.

Gen. 1:14 That means these three, on The Father’s celestial clock, shows us when the New Moons and Sabbaths occur. Show me how the Roman continual day calendar is connected to the sun, moon and stars. Find me a Sabbath in Scripture that did not fall on the 8th, 15 th, 22, and 29 day on a lunar calendar.

I mean, Catholicism is probably the worst but every denomination is an excuse to worship God without believing a word He has written. Think about it. What denomination doesn't specifically break canon? I've never seen it and I'm pushing 70. Fundamentalists claim they're going back to the bible but I've examined lots of so-called fundamentalist churches. Every one of them uses their denomination to shield themselves from God's word. Church of Christ? They have a very subtle form of disobedience and unbelief. It looks like New Testament Christianity but it fails in many of the particulars. Baptists all tell you to "find a bible believing church" but they themselves don't believe the bible so I guess they're advertising for some other church then? Paul said it best, "There is none righteous, no, not one." Find a denomination that doesn't use it's status to violate the New Testament. I dare you.

@@xintimidate - I can't cite sources but I have heard that expression before - coming from Catholic sources. I think the RU-vid channel "The Fuel Project", in it's series on the mystery religions quotes a Catholic source. That series is worth listening to. It traces religions all the way back to Nimrod. Obviously, it has a measure of what ifs and some propaganda in it but it really got me connecting dots that I'd never considered before. It blows Freemasonry wide open.

Akhenaten changed his name in order to declare his allegiance to the One True God. Aten in the Egyptian language is the name of the Invisible Creator, which means that he could not be worshiping the sun, for then his name would end in Amun, thus declaring his allegiance to Amun-Ra, the Egyptian sun god. The same (unfortunately in the reverse order) happened with his son-in-law, Tutankhaten, who changed his name to Tutankhamun when he relapsed to the worship of Amun-Ra after his father-in -law Akhenaten had been murdered by the priests of the sun god. Akhenaten also rejected the doctrine of the immortality of the soul and believed in soul sleep as is evident from one of his poems which bears a close resemblance to the Psalms.
