Love the video! Love your channel! Question for ya....instead of placing nails in the rollers and applying tape...what about putting some dry cement mix in the holes and then dripping some water in them to make them solid???🤷🏼‍♂️

I ordered the 4 pack and it’s an easy install. I think my biggest concern is the fact that the rollers overlap the clips where you attach your bag, so once you do this there’s no way to attach the bag without undoing it and removing 1 of the rollers. I will probably cut 1 of the rollers down an inch and use smaller washers to keep them inside the clips so I can still use my bagger.

Yes smart! I was going to modify the bag clips for bagging but I rarely bag when I reel if I need to bag I’ll go one pass with the ego then finish with the reels 😂🤙🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾

Nice job! I’ve got the same mower and I’m cutting Bermuda at the lowest height setting (0.6”). The OEM roller is 2” I believe. These 1668513 rollers ar 2.5”. Have you found anything similar in 2” (or even 1.75”)?

The deck roller was the only one that fit properly … I actually tried 2 metal rollers back there but needed heavier modification… this was way easier 😊👊🏾🙏🏾🤙🏾

I finally made the decision to buy the SunJoe! I have a question tho! I'm looking for something to add to the rollers for weight like you did...would sand work (instead of the nails)? Do the rollers sit flush and tight enough where the sand wouldn't be leaking out everywhere?

Yeah my suggestion and everyone else too is lead and melt it down or.. lead from the weights on wheels to balance them and then foam them in so they stay in place!! Congrats you’re gonna love the Sunjoe!!! 😊🙌🏾🙏🏾🤙🏾

Amazing idea Brah!!!!! Does the height of rollers have to be the same as the original rollers? I don't have Sunjoe, but I would like to do the same on my Japanese minature reel mower (manual). I've never done mod on mowers. I searched DIY stiping rollers using PVC pipe but your mod is simple and quick !

That’s the problem with yardforce and Scott’s their battery is only 2ah … amp hour doesn’t measure power but when I put my 6ah battery in the Sunjoe the reel spins faster giving it a better cut! 2ah is weak…. But hey we all need something until Sunjoe comes out with 2.0 version 😂😂😂🤙🏾👊🏾🙏🏾🔥 thanks for the idea! 😊🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

haha awesome! what's your HOC? I find it was striping REALLY nice at 1.5" inches... i'm noticing faint stripes at 1" so i'm gonna add some lead to the rollers! 😊🤙🏾
