Cutting my grass to 1/2 INCH!!! Seriously! WHAT AM I THINKING!!! Had to bust out the SUNJOE Cordless Reel Electric Mower! Also brought out our friend EGO EDGER!

Welcome to the reel low mow club! Scary at first, but it’s an AMAZING mow. I hope you decide to stay sub 1” in the front. And yes, the beast shall return shortly I have found out, the grass handles the wet winter better, with less damage from walking on it, or “phantom 💩er’s”

Stick edgers are a game changer with the amount of edges you have being on a corner lot it's makes the job alot easier. I picked up a used stihl fc90 curved shaft edger last year for 120 best decision ever. Next time Tyr going forward and reverse.

Great dance moves at the end! Totally pulled it off! I'll return in a few episodes to see how your 1/2 lawn recovered. 1/2 inch? Sorta reminds me of back when I was a kid, the day after school let out for summer vacation, All us kids got Crew Cuts; sorta like your lawn! Since I was a kid during the Hippie 60's, in California, Crew cuts weren't cool; not sure if they ever have been now that I think of it.... Anyway. Great video! I'll be back!

Honestly mate, I’m from Scotland and I wish you lived around the block from me. Love your humour. I’ve been tackling my front lawn for 3 years since I moved in, it’s better, but not to the standard I’d like. I do get nice stipes though!

Just got me the Sun Joe push reel mower and cut my Bermuda down to 1.5inches. My Dad came over and was saying my yard looks good untill he seen my Sun Joe talkin bout mannn ima get you a real lawn mower, what is this? I’m like it’s the mower that has you complimenting my yard. But I love the reel mower. If I had to do it different I’m going to get the battery powered reel mower to assist me with pushing a little bit.

Should be catching all that grass because it’s going to difficult getting all all that excess which will turn to moisture absorbing thatch. When you’re initially cutting that low you have to attach the grass catcher. Otherwise you will have to do a second and/or third pass with a traditional rotary blade mower with a grass catcher attachment with hope of sucking up the fallen grass from the Reel cutting. 🤷🏽‍♂️

dude, just got my bermuda looking verra nice as it is coming out this year. sold my gas powered equipment, minus my trimmer(saving for that next).....got the atlas push mower and love it, and it actually cut the yard down to an inch and looked fantastic. however, the thought went through my mind, what about a rotary battery powered mower? glad to see your vid. think ill venture into the reel mower for some fun as well.

Oh no it’s the same ol $500 box store set up holding strong! Only difference is I upgraded the water timers to bhive controlled by my phone now! I’m also going to test out some sprinkler heads that won’t waste too much water I’m spraying too much asphalt and concrete 😂😊🙌🏾🤙🏾🙏🏾

@@YardBrah also what type of grass do you have? I love the look of low cuts. I have KBG so right now I’m at 2 inches. I’d go lower but it’s not super thick atm (haven’t over seeded yet) and I don’t want weeds to creep in come this summer.

Should have taken it to .5 gradually instead of all at once. You stress it by taking too much off at one time. Also a striper won’t do anything at .5
