That was awesome! Helmet microphone is really good, it's really interesting to hear your thoughts during the race, and the exhaust sounds of other cars is cool to hear too. While I do enjoy your yellow text narration in "normal" videos, it was nice to hear you do some voiceovers, even if you do clearly hate doing it! Great driving as ever, some hilariously bold moves, proper racing, great to watch. As you say, you're all mates really so it's a good laugh.

Hey Danny.👋 Over the past day and a half-ish, I've watched this video a couple of times in its entirety and had to come back and drop some lines. Everything is so well put together! My wife even commented on the rear view cam in the visor strip. And I think we all like the new helmet mic to hear your thoughts real-time. Hats off to ya for your willingness to try new things and getting that production value way up where it is. I dig how you've synchronized the internal and external footage and the end result is silky smooth.👌 I've read all the other comments up to this point and it's good to see all the support. This crowd gets it and nice to see 'em showing the love. On to the racings, looks like your string theory was spot on, Dan.👏 Tightened everything up and inspired confidence for the race day. Both races were really tight and action-packed throughout. I know you were happy with that 2nd place trophy and as you mentioned, a win can't be far away. As much as the other racing in the TT etc is great, I don’t think you can beat the one make stuff like this! Awesome video as always, that win can’t be far away.
Only watched race 1 so far but that was epic. Last 5 or 6 laps was some class driving, in the zone as they say. Last lap was a scrappy one for the lot of you in comparison but made for some great racing! Top stuff lad.
Didn't disappoint, cracking racing, both races. Excellent content, camera set up now is A1, can tell I enjoyed it as I wasn't fast forwarding it, watched it all. Its been a great season all round, poor car looks absolutely hammered now, still shifts pretty well considering its probably bent to fuck and bits keep falling off it. Excellent stuff Dan as usual 👏 👍
Stumbled across this channel as you was in my recommendations and glad I did. This was a class video, some great racing. Well done 👌 amazing result in race 1! 🥈And big balls for race 2 at the top of the mountain.
Great racing, Dan and great work on the editing and camera set up. The number of different angles is impressive and the helmet mic is a great addition. Surprised you were able to say as much as you while racing. I think I would have zero capacity to offer any type of comment with all of the chaos unfolding around me! :)

Hi Dan - fascinating how all of last year(and year before? cant remember how long you've been doing this now) you'd be too-ing and froing in the mid pack with a bunch of MK2's leading you to question if MK3 is the right choice - yet lately the MK2's are all left in the dust

Great racing, love Cadwell, but she's a bit tight to race around! Camera never gives the full impression of how undulating and tight this place is, I'd encourage anyone to have a go around here, it's mega. Setup worked a treat I reckon and in car voice recording great. Unlucky on the last lap manoeuvre!
yeah I spotted that in the edit too, it was also pretty good on my first lap of qualy... cold tyres... I run the pressures low but maybe i should go lower...
@@dannyDC2 was going to say pressures/ temps. Perhaps Quali needs to be hot lap cool lap etc. Know you barely get enough time to get 6/7 laps in at some places though. Looks like the sort of tyre that the moment you overheat, or slide on them and spike the surface temps they damage badly and take a while to recover. Be interesting to measure Hot pressures after a scruffy lap rather than smooth hot lap and see if you can measure surface temps. Maybe something for next year if you end up going full send for a championship etc 👌👍
If you are reshelling next season. Tlc on the bits you're transferring. MT90 gear oil, ceramic coated manifold. New clutch if you've not binned that worn out one. Flush out the power steering pump, also check the mounting points for the steering rack, quite a few are now starting to fail. New steering UJ and another pair of massive swinging steel balls and you'll be reet. Oh and go faster stripes down the side and shitty stickers, fan bois luv stickers
Gotta love Cadwell, only raced there once in clios, what pads are you using again as you said they lasted almost full season? We were using carbon Lorraine pads cl5s I think and changing them every other round!
