Oh hell yeah! Now I want a full 16-bit rendition of the rest of the Super Mario Land soundtrack!

Super Mario Land was my first Mario game, so this soundtrack hits hard (especially since SMW is my favorite 2D Mario). This is good, criminally underrated soundtrack.

One of our former neighbors had a garage sale years ago and one of the Gameboy games that they had was Mario Land. This brings back a lot of memories playing it. I still have my lime green Gameboy color. It's been a very long time since I used it.

We need a remake of Mario Land with Mario World graphics and this kind of music!

This is absolutely perfect, sounds very authentic to the SMW sound font, and still true to the cheerful original Gameboy theme. Love the animation too, and the depiction of the Fighter Flies.

I'm gonna ask the technical question. Did you arrange this within the limitations of the SPC700 chip? If so, you could probably get this to work in actual Super Mario World. You may need to repitch some of the samples but it could be done
