Been thinking of making some floats for awhile now. Got access to reeds that line a water catchment pond , that's on an estate near to me. Must have walked past it numerous times over lock down walks and never given it a second look, until now. Love the vids Andy. Its a pass time that's now being bought back to life, thanks to the tube. Folks are making and sharing all sorts of stuff for fishing...Just look at Dave Prestons empire.
I wondered how you got the dome on the floats mate, I been using a pencil sharpener to round mine off then sand it down, those are nice floats you've made. If it weren't for you I wouldn't of tried float making so thanks for the vids 👍👍
loving the colours :) i can see a rainbow 🌈 float coming soon --- a small bit of masking tape will help get a clean edge at the bottom of the tip --- these are looking good
