Pretty badass! I def would have been tempted to relocate the battery and put the intake there instead. Congrats on the new shop even if it was a big annoyance to move!

I wanted to do that originally, but the awic didn't clear the fuse box. I could get the pipes a lot shorter if I relocated both battery & fuse box for sure!

So, the top hat on the blower can mount backwards, but it may interfere with your throttle flange. I have an M90 that I'm putting on a Ford 2.3 🤣

This looks pretty sweet, i was searching for some ej25 non turbo boost up guide, i have a subaru outback 2001 2.5 and the ez30 is justo impossible to find in my country. Glad you made these videos.

I envy everyone with a running XT. Mine has a shot motor after an oil seap into the crank. Keep the 3rd gens alive man.

Mine was blown when I bought it. Had it up to 350whp as a turbo car then decided to go the blower route.

For low boost h6 would be great, but I will be adding a turbo soon and the STI engine does much better with high boost/power, so this will have some trans snapping power soon lol

Liking the work thus far. Subscribed and following your build. I have an '09 Outback 2.5i that I am building an S/C setup for using an Eaton M62 from a Cobalt SS. Will eventually be building an EJ255/253 Hybrid motor (built EJ255 bottom end with EJ253 SOHC heads). Question for you...what laser pulley alignment tool are you using in the video? Looks pretty handy.

Thanks for subscribing, that sounds like a nice setup your building 👍 The m62 should fit nicely in the bay. The laser pulley alignment too I used is the (Gates 91006).

@@boostedproblems5139 I'm planning a similar supercharger placement as you (centrally located S/C and alternator relocated to the P/S pump location), but different layout for the I/C and charge plumbing. BTW...how do you like the Air/Water IC stuff from Frozen Boost? Am looking at Air/Water intercooler parts from Frozen Boost as well...

It's pretty good, for the price it trump's any air to air. I wish the core and exchanger had larger outlets though. 1" is ideal. Largest I could fit was 3/4". I plan to add an ice tank with a pair of shut off valves in the future, for drag days ;-)

That looks like a great kit any of the ones that have a receiver and a sender are much better than just the sender.

Love it but you do realize cfm means almost nothing in boosted applications right? Also wondering why not run it like a blow through? Thats alot of volume to fill and it could just be full all the time with a bov.

Tried it as a blow through. Putting the maf back in front of the throttle body is what made it finally run. Also it has a turbo and meth injection now so the maf has to stay where it is, otherwise it would get wet.

It’s not stand alone. The OEM Subaru ecu has quite a bit of tuning capabilities. Also stand alone eco is very illegal in my state so I could never again drive it on the street, would render the car useless or worse impounded.

Step 1 find out if your particular model is flash tunable step 2 Cams, supercharger, Turbo, or NOS any other engine mods are not going to give much power per $

its called a blow through MAF more accurate intake temp this way. I did end up putting it back in a more stock location.

Yes I still drive it. Recently had it in the show at Boxerfest for the 2nd year in a row. It is a much different setup though it now has a 6speed, bigger fuel system, and there is a huge GT45 feeding the blower!

Originally was going to do the snow stage 1 meth kit before I went the supercharged route. I still may just for the octane increase ! So far this AWIC intercooler hasn't even gotten a little warm. So it's definitely adequate as far as intake temp's go.
