But I'm not stupid enough to think that a human being, even at the peek of human ability, can even stand a chance against someone who can move planets. Anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid. Batman has even said himself that Superman could wipe the floor with him and how can anyone argue with that.

Thank you guys for existing in the same universe as me with all these bat fans you see it we all see it batman is my favorite but when this battle comes up and all stupid hype comes up for batman it just ruins it all for me. Sorry for the long sentence

If a god like being that has powers was to come to our planet one humanbeing cannot stop him and this is me putting in realism because human being no matter how skilled a fighter you are you will get tired afta a while, you see this things happening on tv when you watch a boxing match or a ufc match they're professional fighters but they all have their limit before they run out of stamina and strength. I strongly agree. The fact he was raised by good people and uses his godlike powers to help people and fight over powered beings is very inspirational. He demonstrates hope. Honestly that why I love him. Because he doesn't misuse his powers for selfish reasons. Except for some timelines like the Injustice games.

But Batman is human. Superman isn't. A human can feel more emotion for another human then they ever can for an animal because even if the person is twisted, it's still a person. We as people don't know how anything but a person thinks. Batman isnt necessarily meant to be relatable from a human standpoint. He is meant to be relatable from an underdog standpoint. I think that is why so many people are passionate about him winning it's because he represents the biggest underdog in comics. Batman essentially represents the best humans can be achieved through hard work and determination. Superman didn't have to work or train for his powers. Furthermore batman also shows us how to take pain and suffering and turn it into something good and admirable. This is something we all can strive to do. That is why so many people look up to batman and wish so hard for him to win against all odds. We can try to be superman but we cant fly, we don't see the world as flimsy cardboard. With batman we can aspire to be the best we can be and work hard with what we are given. And with batman we can stand up and keep fighting even when we are outmatched like we are all at some point, weather in sports, or competition. We can look at someone bigger stronger and faster than us and tell ourselves that they are no better. And for this reason batman is my favorite character.

Have you ever seen Thor vs Hulk arguments before? It can be really messy lol. Heroes debate is what sells comics really, so its not more united in Marvel then DC. Marvel has more success in movies because studios generally have more respect for the characters, but its starting to stabilize now with Man of Steel & upcoming Batman/Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is good for the comicbook gendra in general.

@KiroTheAssassin I know why that is too, today's writers be appeasing batman fanboys for their money by writing these stories where he's seen fighting Superman and beating him but that would not make any sense given how Superman is way stronger than Batman. Also just because Batman has the brains doesn't mean he's the true natural leader of the JLA cause he was never a real team player or any good at rallying them as Superman has and really HE'S the true leader always has been. The fact is real writers would not care about money so much and just write meaningful stories that actually make sense, like Superman being seen as the superior one above Batman who's as you said the ordinary human with the brains and crime fighting gizmos.
