There are too many good alternatives for it to crash where as in the early 80s that wasn't the case. You didn't have good indie games and tons of information on which games would suck or a bajillion shitty clones of games. Here's the problem; the industry was killed, resurrected, then brought back to life... And now it's starting to stink again. It won't die, it's a zombie, but it's a fate maybe worse than death. The industry may never stop coming up with new ways to fuck the customer over and with an army of fanboys defending it, why stop? In 1982 they didn't have shitty DRM or content cut out of games and sold later. We did have shitty, unplayable games in 1982 but these were games that were rushed out in about a month whereas we have so-called "Triple A" publishers cranking games for their IPs once a year and they arguably as damaging to the industry as the shit games were from 1982. Except that this industry won't die, it will hit rock bottom eventually if people don't stop defending these companies and continue to pre-order video games. That's the saddest part, because the industry crashing was THE BEST thing to happen because when Nintendo rose up to bring video games back, they learned from all the mistakes up to that point. I want another crash to happen, even if it's for a year, so companies would stop fucking us over and people would finally wake the hell up.

ASCG5000 True Crime really is one of the more underrated third person shooters. It's one of the first games to implement a karma system (this was before Infamous made that popular). You can be a good or bad cop depending on your actions and you get different endings (and even different missions) based on your affiliation.

Other reviewers have been just as critical as Joe-- Frankie1080p on PC also was but those three most definitely been bought. Videogamer tv dot com have been really negative of it too. So many RU-vidrs also been promoting Hardline so many are rotten it seems. Angry Joe and Frankie1080p only ones that actually been honest.

Dragon of the Darkness Flame I take all reviews with a grain of salt (even Joes reviews). Although I will say, Joe has more integrity and is more honest than those other publications I mentioned. I played bloodborne it is fucking hard! I was barley able to get passed the very first enemy! After I did finally beat it I knew that the rest of the game would be similar so I turned it off and sent it back not saying it's bad just way too difficult.

H I M Exclusive, yes; piss poor, nah. No regrets on my end. Joshua Willis I'd recommend playing Dark Souls first, and then getting good at it. Bloodborne seems to play off of skilled veteran souls play; like dex players in PvP that rely on light rolls, parries, and ripostes instead of shields and armor.

Looking at EA's record these past couple of years, how can we not expect them to milk the life out of battlefront? They know how exited everyone is. They have an easy opportunity to make money off of peoples excitement and use micro transactions, dlc at launch taken out of the main game to be sold separately, and other cheap practices. I really hope I'm wrong... but it's up to EA. We'll see. **Edit** according to a rumor, Battlefront WILL have an aggressive DLC and micro-transaction plan? :/

Just going to point out that Battlefront 1 was inspired by BF2 (Battlefield 2). HOWEVER, Battlefront 3 (Or Battlefront, if we go by EA and it's stupid idea of reboots) will most certainly NOT have the following: Bots, Galactic Conquest, a good single player, unique classes (Got to allow them dude-bro's to unlock guns). What it will have: Class progression, one million different useless unlocks, DLC, Origin, terrible net code (Because after 15 years, DICE still cannot code worth a damn), great sound effects (Dice does have it's bright spots). I am VERY reluctant to pre-order. I have Pre-ordered more table top games than I have Video games. Battlefront will have to impress me to get a pre-order.

I only just recently subscribed to Angry Joe and so far, he hasn't seemed to enjoy a single game. What was the last game that he actually liked? It seems like he ONLY ever plays AAA games, pretty much exclusively, at least for review purposes and never touches indie games and for the AAA games, it seems that none of the AAA games he talks about are not worth buying. He seems to review games just because they're AAA which will bring in clicks, which I'm sure it will.

In ye'oldy days expansions could have been like you mentioned or complete overhauls of the game that used the base assets... or none of those assets, but in the same world the "stand alone" which we still see today, kinda like SR4 Gat: out of Hell. People are just tired of seeing the same game every year with a different hat. They should just go underground for a few years and develop something that no one has seen in a BF game. 2142 was pretty crazy when it first came out. Going from WW era to Mechs was a fresh transition. Sorry this was so long. I wanted to make a point without sounding like an ass. Can't convey body language or tone in text easily.

Joe is fun and entertaining, but his analysis isn't always the most detailed or succinct and tend to be heavily based on his personal preferences. If you want a review that gives you a feel for the game in general, he's good, but if you want a more technical analysis of graphics, sound, software optimisation, etc. there are others like Totalbiscuit or Angry Centaur Gaming who are better at that kind of review. It really depends what you are looking for in a review.

Joe is a good reviewer but he's definitely not the best, I mean he gave DmC and Metal Gear Rising the SAME rating!

Battlefront 2 dropped the pay to win elements at day 1 of the release. I bought the deluxe edition, and while game isn't perfect. It was worth every penny

Honestly, they should've made it into a Battlefield: Sicarios, where you are playing as US or Bolivian Special Forces against a Drug Cartel that's armed to the teeth. Something like Ghost Recon: Wildlands would do nicely.

Actually, it is realistic. You can see while he's being attacked he holds down it's mouth for awhile. But obviously trying to keep a alligators' mouth closed in the water is an entirely different experience to on land. Even on land once it starts struggling you're not gonna be able to do anything without tape

The problem is the damage divider they put on any enemy you can see to ensure you always get the final shot to make you feel powerful. Well in fairness one was written by writers that give us an original and creative story every time, whilst the other was written by a lazy intern who just copied and pasted the plot of another cop drama and changed the names in order to get it done in the first day

They even both have a protagonist named Nick, the difference being that in Zootopia, Nick is a "criminal" turned cop, and in Hardline, Nick is a cop turned criminal. A vice versa if I ever heard one.

When it comes to getting hyped for things I usually follow publishers, developers, or others who have a good track record when it comes to games. So when it comes to getting hyped I don't like seeing publishers like EA or Ubisoft. Those publishers aren't the best at keeping their promises.
