I wish I could have gotten child support for my 3 kids while there mother was out blowing and going. She never held a job after we divorced and lived with whatever man that would support her. So I did the best I could to raise them on my own. I wish I could have done more for them like taking vacations, just giving them some of the things they wanted. It took most of the money I made just to make house payments, car loans, food, clothing, insurance, and medical bills. Our vacations most of the time where going on camping trips, or going to a family members house, etc. We have a very close bond and they are all grown now and have kids of there own. They know now how hard it is to raise kids and they are married. They tell me all the time they don't know how I did it because they have a hard time making it with 2 incomes.

Man, I wish I had this judge and Texas law when I went through child support!! I live in Florida and was given $75 a week for 3 children. He died in 2010 when the children were past CS age but owed them over $60,000!! He had 2 other children who drew SS after he passed, but they also ended up in foster care because the mom walked away. I worked my butt off with the help of my family to raise my children, I now have 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren❤❤.

My kids father still owes me $40,000. He hardly ever paid child support or worked. Even though he was ordered to pay it it was like pulling teeth to get any payments.
