Women need to quit considering it their child until the child needs something then suddenly its his child. When it comes to custody and control its her child when it comes to support feeding and clothing its his child. Its women on this very same show haven't had their child in years but requesting that the father pay them child support even though the father has custody🙄🙄🙄

Honestly I am unsure if the kid deserves either of them. The mom seems like she is practicing self-care and using the kid to avoid the depression which most likely makes her a neglectful partner (so not trying to keep the family together) and more likely to turn that victim mentality violence she showed towards her kid if they start acting up. Meanwhile, I don't think the dad is much better as he seems to have quite the hands-off approach. It honestly seems like the best chance that child has is for both of them to commit to a licensed therapist, and perhaps couples therapy. That way, they can learn to communicate and she can actually work on that depression of hers.

He filed for full custody first then child support so he wanted the child to live with him he has more stability than she does and she is sounding like she may be incarcerated soon so he may get his shot at being a better dad sooner than later

She gave the child to him when she fought the other women. The only thing the court will see is she's unstable period. If you can't deal with your emotions the court will lock u up.

@@thatmdguy4557 Okay, assuming that you are right that he filed for full custody first, then once custody is granted, then you file for child support, or, if the courts in that jurisdiction allow it, file for both at the same time, and once custody is decided upon, support follows.

There are many people who are collecting child support while the other parent is taking care of the kids.

I agree. I think his story is ABSOLUTE bull. I think the TRUTH is, he saw a beautiful woman, they were having unprotected sex and suddenly she's pregnant and having to focus on taking care of the child rather than him and now he's jealous and bitter and the ONLY reason he wants child support is to get back at her out of pure spite. He has NO interest in being a real Dad. He just knows if he doesn't do it, she WILL and then HE will have to pay to support this child he finds so annoying. This child is 6 yrs old now. He's probably in school. He can play by himself some. He's not a baby anymore. So that language is that of the real case which means the only part of my statement that probably doesn't stand is my assessment of the emotion the woman was conveying. And that isn't completely true because any decent actor is supposed to be able to convey the emotions of the character they are/were portraying so if they read the transcripts from the case it wouldn't be to hard to tell.

@@Tonnnnia These reenactments are of "scenarios" based on real cases and not real cases themselves though, so its not like the actors are reading from a court transcript but are instead given a script that is based on several cases but is arranged in such a way as to be both educational and entertaining. Also these guys are actors but that doesn't mean they're good or even decent as they're all amateur actors that haven't even done anything as big as a local commercial, so you can't put too much faith in their acting abilities since this is in many cases their first and last gig as an actor with lines. That said though most of them do a great job.

No difference it's like the majority of kids is with the grandparents more than they're with the mother that's a fact but the mother still gets child support it happens every day it could be a woman living with her parents and the kids he said that is obviously with the grandparents more than they going to be with the mother but she still gets child support right so if it's good to do that for a woman no matter who the child is with why wouldn't it be okay for the same thing for the man to get away with I don't understand

He didn't file for custody or he would be in a different hearing. He filed for support and then mentioned wanting custody during a support hearing. Doesn't work that way for anyone. He has to file appropriately first. He should do that now while he has a good case.
