Your story is not proof that the masks you were wearing were effective....only proof that you were around a sick person and didn't catch it. We're around sick people all the time whether we know it or not, whether we are wearing a mask or not, and most of the time we don't get sick.

I feel you. I use to literally hate my mom when I was young she was so strict and would whoop my ass in a heart beat but when I got older and had my on life and kids I realize all she did was out of love. Now she's 82 with dementia and although it gets very stress full. I try and go above and beyond to make her life as comforter and enjoyable as I can.

This was beautiful. I can tell Zo comes from a solid foundation. No family is perfect but when you have a solid foundation there are no limits for your future. My family is similar and I know Zo probably had to bump heads a little with his parents to go the flamboyant entertainment route because they appear to be hard working and traditional...old school which is awesome.

Ok, so two things. I love the message in the beginning about being grateful and I understand the loneliness the holidays can bring out the worst in you when you are feeling that way.. also my sister lost her husband 3 days before Christmas to Covid so those blessings that you mentioned are something that people often take for granted. Family is one of the greatest blessings.. you don’t know what you got until it’s gone. We get so comfortable with the things we have because we are used to it that we failed to realize that others are praying for what we already have! Also Zo you are a beautiful spirit there is someone out there for you someone special, Gods timing is never wrong. So keep praying and being patient. I’m 31 and have never been on a date and I want a family and I love romance etc but it’s just not my time yet and I refuse to settle. What God has for you is for you! Love you Zo. We understand Zoie, Our parents and grandparents come from homes were their communication and the way they show affection was so different from the way we are now or at least want to be. They don't know how to give something that wasn't given to them and are too stuck in their ways and stubborn to open up NOW and learn. We just have to communicate better, express our love and be more affectionate with one another from here on out to break that curse.
